Part of Meg’s craft weekend involved an afternoon of antiquing and junking. Be still my heart! The heat and humidity were no problem since we stopped at Sonic’s and I got a carmel banana malt. Yeah baby!
I tried to be good and not buy too much because I already have plenty of fun things at home and I was traveling by plane. I picked up a few cute finds. Honestly, when I looked at everyone else’s treasures at the end of the day, I was a bit jealous. Those girls found some amazing things! I came home inspired to think outside of the box and use what I already to have to make my home beautiful and fun.
What’s inspiring you today?
As another Kansan, I, too, would love to know where that awesome vintage stuff was.
I’d be interested in knowing where you were…partly because I live in KS and want to check it out! I’d love repainting one of those old lawn chairs to use on our front lawn to watch the summer sunsets here on our farm…
I wanna go back to the barn… I was there last year and can’t wait to go back there! Oh the treasures I could find..Going back in September and excited!!!
oh man, all that junk! so much fun!!!!
hope you had an amazing time at craft weekend! i would love to go to something like that!
so many cool things to see antiquing!
don’t you just love that place?! Ugh. It’s been over a year and I miss it SO much!
I live in KS and I’m curious too where you were! 🙂
I’m in KS!! Where were you! This doesn’t look familiar to me!!
Your blog has inspired me today!
I saw some great ideas to use in my home! The wooden letters READ and how precious to have a “you are loved” picture right above the bed!!
So sweet!
And I am like OMgoodnes—Lisa Leonard! I see your ads everywhere! I don’t wear jewelry but if I did, I would buy it all from you! 🙂
Have a great day!
Lisa, I am a Kansas girl, born and raised but now live in Georgia. What city were you in? I would love to check out that antique shop next time we go back to visit family.
Thanks,
Juli
I want the black chair to spray paint!
You! Looks like a wonderful trip. When school starts up, my plan is to go into those antique and flea market stores I always pass up and walk by without stopping in. Thanks for the inspiration.
