back to school {tea clothing}

the boys have been back in school for a little over a week. we flew home from england on a tuesday night and they started the school the next morning. insane! but they both did great–phew!

our friends over at tea clothing sent some clothes for the boys to start school in. i absolutely love the colors, fabrics and the way they fit. the kids clothes at tea are a bit more than i would usually spend, but the quality is is really worth it–these clothes wash and wear well!

i love this color green on david. it’s always the first shirt i put on him when their laundry comes out of the dryer. {i’m wearing a tank from gap, vintage skirt from ruby rose, flip flops from old navy}

both of the boys have great teachers again this year. david is in 4th grade {holy moly!} and matthias is in second grade. i know it’s going to be a fabulous year! thank you tea for the new school clothes!

 i love new beginnings. one thing i want to do this year is walk home from school with the boys {usually we drive}. do you have any goals for this new school year?

  1. My goal for this school year is to volunteer more time with “Rolling Readers”. My girls are graduated and working…but I still enjoy visiting my teacher friend in her 1st grade classroom and reading favortie books to her students. I love the tea clothing…makes me wish I had someone to buy it for! 🙂

  2. i’m a die-hard tea fan & think the clothes couldn’t be more cozy & adorable! your kiddos look fantastic in tea in these pics. i’d love my 2 girls to be tea catalog models!! ha!

  3. To enjoy every last minute of my youngest sons last year of school, and to hopefully help him to find what he wants to study in college and to pray that he gets accepted to the college of his choice!!

  4. I’m a huge Tea Collection fan. My little girl is in a “dresses only” phase, and their easy-to-wear and easy-to-wash dresses pair perfectly with leggings!

    And this year is my first with one in school… We are developing our fall list tonight. We had one for summer (inspired by you!) and we accomplished almost everything on it, so we are excited to start a new one for this season. I know a few things already (pumpkin patch trip, our first “big” trip with the kids to Disneyland, making our own homemade pizza), but it’ll be fun to brainstorm some new ideas, too.

  5. Survive the drive. I’ll be gassing it up 2-hours a day – 30 minute drive one way. BUT, soooo worth it!!!!! Just pray for me, please! I’m not a happy highway driver and the drive requires highway. I hit the sweet spot as to when to leave to avoid traffic, though. I say a prayer each time I enter the on-ramp (I’m not kidding). But God has kept us safe!

    Love the clothes!!!!

  6. I think it’s going to be a fabulous school year too!
    I sent my 4 to 2nd grade, 5th grade, freshman and junior years to the high school!
    And, guess what I noticed at the bus stop this morning? A neighborhood Mom friend wearing one of your necklaces!!
