i’m linking up with jeannett over at life rearranged to share phone pics from the last week. join us!
i just got home from hilton head {which was a.maz.ing} and i was preparing to go to the creative connection when my plans changed. i’ve had a persistent cough since we got back from england so i made a doctor appointment to get it checkout. turns out i have bronchitis/borderline pneumonia. whaaat? so everything came to a halt last minute and i had to stay home from the creative connection. i am so sad to miss it, but the rest has been good for me.
here’s was happened this week in instagram…
1. flying to south carolina with my sweet friend sarah. we were roomies in college and we shared a room at the beach house. it was so good to be together again!
2. on my wrist–our devoted bracelet. this piece has been so popular we can’t keep it in stock.
3. sarah and i at breakfast in hilton head. we ate at signes–her delicious french toast was featured on rachel ray’s show. yum!
4. palm trees. west coast or east coast–i love them!
5. i like to use a lot of cream in my coffee. when i have to open up each creamer individually it gets a little ridiculous!
6. the writers from {in}courage gathered at the beach house on hilton head island. such a sweet time!
7. grilled cheese and tomato bisque at soho in savannah. seriously delicious! you must eat there if you spend time in savannah!
8. a pretty doily on a rustic wood table. i love to mix textures.
this weekend we are going to take it easy and i’m going to try to get all the way well! but, maybe we’ll sneak out for one little adventure near the beach. what are you weekend plans?
Hi Lisa, I’ve had a nasty cough since I’ve left Hilton Head too. I wonder if I have what you have? Hmm… I think I’ll make a doctor’s appointment. 🙂 Rest well, sweet friend! Sorry you had to miss Creative Connection. I miss you!
TCC was awesome! ( but I was so sad not to meet you)! Glad you’re taking care of yourself though, & it was cold in St Paul!!
Hope to meet you someday, & that you’re feeloing better each day!
🙂
love the shoes from Target and i hope your trip to Hilton Head/Savannah was memorable because i moved there a few months ago! have a nice weekend!
I hope you get well soon. I had an awful cough like that two years ago at this time. No fun. My practitioner finally prescribed me an inhaler, which seemed to help.
Glad you had a fabulous time at Hilton Head with the (in)courage girls.
Missed seeing you yesterday at the Handmade Market at TCC! (Hey!! I just see here, Kristin already paid you a visit!) We’re funny!! Best friends sometimes think a like! Heard you were sick and wanted to send my get well wishes too!! ~Chris Ann
I hope you feel better soon!
My plans for the weekend include lots of homework, a rugby game, and a coffee date with a friend.
See what that damp English air will do to a California girl?! 😉 Snuggle in and rest up!
Chris Ann is headed to the TCC event right now. But, good for you for staying home. Hope you feel well. I followed tweets from {in}Courage. Looks like you guys had a blast!
~Kristin
Yes! Feel better soon! So sorry to miss you at TCC in St. Paul. I was signed up for your Loopy Loop earring class on Saturday & was totally bummed to hear you were feeling under the weather. Good for you for taking care of YOU. Hope to see you next year! Enjoy your snuggly, comfy time with your family this weekend.
I hope you feel better soon, Lisa! Some extra snuggles from your adorable boys this weekend will be a sure cure. 🙂 Take care of yourself!
Hehe love the creamers…hope you feel better soon, looks like a great week.
so sorry you have to miss the conference – but now that means more time with family 🙂 feel better soon!
Honestly, Lisa, good for you for making the call to stay home from Creative Connection. I say that because there would have been a time in my life where, if I were you, I would have gone despite doctor’s orders, illness, whatever. The guilt would have sat me in the airplane seat, I would have been miserable and not able to deliver my best. But I would have done it (foolishly). I’d like to think I’ve grown into a person that would have made the decision you made – stay home, rest, get well, so you can deliver your best, again. Maybe you’ve always been like that, or maybe you too have grown into a person that can finally say “no”. I don’t know you well enough to say, but either way, BRAVO!
