i’m in minneapolis for the creative connection.
steve was going to join me, but stayed home since david is sick.
big bummer and i cried when he couldn’t come
but i am so glad he is taking care of our boys.
and the girl time is also helping to ease the pain.
{above pics} i spent the day with gussy and lindsey eating {more} chipotle
and doing just a little bit {more} shopping at target.

what’s your go-to creative outlet?
looks like a great time was had! I so wish I could of made it!
Lisa, Lisa! I’ve got to say you are a woman after my own heart. I LOVE Target and everything beautiful. Your table is tickle my toes tasty! I just wish I could be there to see it in person.
Kisses from the WhipperChicks
Your booth is just gorgeous! I love it … wish I was in Minneapolis right now. We live 7 hours north in Canada and visited there this summer – it was lots of fun – a great city. If you have time, check out the beautiful Shoppes of Arbor Lakes (in Maple Grove) – they have an awesome Anthro!!! I was so excited to look at your conference website and see so many familiar faces from Country Living magazine (one of my favourites) … they are all amazing ladies (and the occassional guy!)! Keep having fun!
sewing and photography.
My creativity corner is the “shelf” above my washer and dryer. I live in a tiny (no storage space), yet huge one bedroom loft. All my art stuff is sitting on the ledge, shelf, half washer room… It’s hip, fun, annoying, and beautiful all at the same time. And no matter what I call it, I still love it!
And by the way… My friend recently turned me on to your site, and since then I have been obsessed! Thanks for being in the world! Many blessings, Lisa : )
Glad you are enjoying Minneapolis! I wish I did not have to work, I would have loved to have met you in person. I hope you have a great time and a safe journey home!

Can you take a picture of you toting whatever bag you carry around with this camera in it, everywhere you go? Love your pictures and I’d love to see that bag.
so cute! i barely recognized maggie with her cute blonde do!
I’m a scrapbooker – that is about as creative as I get. would love to see you in the mid-west. I’m in Columbus, Ohio – do you travel this way at all?
So glad that you are enjoying MN!
Oh wow. I wish I was there. Your booth will be amazing.
Baking! I have a little side business called “Fresh Scratch” and bake organic goodies.
Lisa~
It was so much fun getting to chat with you today!! I enjoyed getting to know you!!
So excited to see what you create for us!

Lisa-
So much fun meeting you today and working your booth. I will see you on Saturday when I am back…maybe even tomorrow with my girls.
Hope you are having a great afternoon! So much fun to have you here in the Twin Cities
Your family photos on the side bar are great. It looks like your having fun at the event. My creative outlet is sewing. I love it.
Love the pics! Mine is definitely photography!
For me, it’s different things depending on my mood – scrapbooking, decorating my house, making jewelry, cooking, making gifts for others…I just love to create new things and put a litlle bit of me into each project.
Have fun at TCC – looks like a great time. My sister lives in Mpls and plans to go on Saturday!
my creative outlet is my sweet guitar! it’s a beautiful instrument (both physically and metaphorically) mine is made out of the softest wood, if you know what i mean by soft wood. it practically feels like velvet. it’s one of the best sounds i’ve ever heard when i play it (not that i think i’m great- i just love the sound it’s manufactured to make). it’s my favorite thing to do, just playin all day. = ]
Love seeing the pictures, have a great time
My creative outlet is creating. I love walking the beach and looking for seaglass and then making something wonderful out of it. Ahhhh its like nothing else to me. I do however love all kinds of crafting but the seaglass is my favorite

Creative Connections looks and sounds like the place to be 🙂 I’m glad you’re having a wonderful time.
I Love Target… I Love Chipotle… YAY YOU!!
The heart shaped leaves are beauitul!!
My (new) creative outlet is the art/inspiration journal that I have recently started… it makes me happy 🙂
I love to make cards, take pictures and blog….way fun!
Oh, how fun! Have a great and relaxing time!
hi lisa
how fun – would love to see all the booths there!!
my go to creative outlet would be redecorating my house – just changing things around and scrapbooking – i am totally not by nature a creative person so i get ideas anywhere i can and then tweak them to be more my own.
🙂 look forward to seeing more pix of your booth

We do have a great city! If you have some time to explore, and have transportation, make your way out to Stillwater. It’s about 30 minutes outside the city, right along the St Croix River. Of course, I live out here, so I’m in love. It’s an old river town with some quaint shops and amazing scenery… which is even better when the sun is shining. Enjoy your visit!
Minneapolis is my home town – but I haven’t been there for years : ( I’m glad you are enjoying her though.
WOW! Your in my city…. Yeah this weather is a bummer, hopefully it will be better weather before you go. I guess I didn’t realize this was going to be here in Minneapolis. I am going to try and check out the Handmade Market on Sat.
Awesome pictures:)
My creative outlet is blogging, taking photos (amateur) & knitting.
Right now, I really need to get started on a baby blanket and the baby is due Sept 30th. YIKES!
p.s. NOT my baby, a friends’ baby.lol

Loved when I worked in downtown Minneapolis for all the shops on Nicollet Mall, now I’m on the other side of the river in St. Paul. Hopefully our weather gets better for the rest of your stay.
‘Looks like a delightful and refreshing trip!
I get so inspired when the seasons change. We have wrapped up summer and are getting ready to enjoy fall…..new smells, new clothes (old ones brought back seem new), new colors, all around me……that inspires me. I simply have to create new things for my home, shop, children………
Enjoy your weekend, Lisa!
