When we were in Lake Arrowhead last week, all the kids planned a 50th dinner celebration for my parents. We split up all the tasks and it came together beautifully. The dinner was delicious {I had nothing to do with food prep!} and the decorations were so fun {I helped with the fabric bunting and centerpieces}. We had a toast {Martinelli’s sparkling apple juice} and a talent show put on by the kids. My younger sister created this video of photos through the years. Each guest took a succulent favor home with them. I’m sure we’ll remember this night for a long time. I took lots of pics to share with you–take a look!
I know my parents felt celebrated and that’s exactly what us kids wanted for them. So special! 50 years is a crazy, amazing thing.
Wow, 50 years! What a legacy of love and faithfulness. Your evening looked magical! I’m sure your parents were deeply blessed by the thought and effort that went into putting on such a meaningful event. Lovely!
Love your blog Lisa…
The pictures of your parents, 50th Anniversary celebration and the video was precious! It brought tears to my eyes and memories of my family. You guys did a great job!
That was a great evening. I wasn’t sure we were going to pull it off.
I love the look of the new blog.
Tell Mathias his haircut is just adorable!! Love his glasses, too. Cute little back to school look!
