The Omaha cousins were in town last week–which means Steve’s sister and mom were also here. We took in Morro Bay, Avila Beach, ate ice cream, watched the sun set and did a lot of nothing in between!
It’s so good to catch up with family. I love having the cousins together–making memories.
I never get tired of Morro Bay. I love the long evening and the magical light at sun set. Before our late evening walk we ate Taco Temple–so I was one happy girl!
It seems like our summer is so full, it’s flying by! We’ve got more cousins in town this week, zoo camp and camping over the weekend with friends. I feel like before we know it, it’s going to be time for school to start–and I’m not ready for that.
For now, I’ll sip some more coffee, ignore the leftover sand in the bathtub and try to make this day last as long as possible!
Thank you, Lisa, for posting the lovely pictures of Morro Bay and the surrounding area. I lived in Morro Bay many years ago and worked at The Shell Shop on the Ebarcadero. I was born and raised in the Midwest and your blog brought back so many happy memories.
