My son Drew and his fiance April are getting married this summer. I would put “united” on their hearts. A second set would say “faith”. April already has one of your bracelets that my husband and I gave her, which she loves and wears all of the time. Thank you for the giveaway!

Oh wow – all the thinking I would have to do before I decide – how to choose…?? SO many wonderful things to say. While I like “welcome”, at the moment I’d go with “laughter.” Afterall, what are hearts and love without laughter?

So this is hard! I think I’d want Family, but maybe Love, Inspire would be good to, Humble would something to think about too. . .oh dear, I may need a few!

I’d love to have this banner with the word FAMILY spelled out on the hearts. I think it would be a great addition to our adoption fundraiser (being held on our blog right now).

I would put BELIEVE.

After my first child, my husband developed thyroid cancer…very treatable, but had to have radioactive iodine as part of his treatment. I planned on more kids, so I made sure to ask the doctors if this would, in any way, interfere. “Nope”, I was told repeatedly.

Sadly, for the 10 years after we were unable to conceive. I tried invitro many times to no avail. Sadly, my plans for a big family were lost. I was lost… and depressed. Most other things in life you can achieve with hard work, but not this.

Then, at 42, I started having these weird feelings. I thought OMG.. it’s premenopausal stuff. NOOO!!

Well, just for the heck of it, I took a pregnancy test and you guessed it, I was pregnant! My husband and I were in shock.

Anyway, for all those years I would pray every night for a little baby. And so, that’s why I chose the word BELIEVE, because my healthy baby boy was delivered to us last May. 🙂

I would choose the letters “N-M-W” for our heart banner. In our family this stands for “No Matter What” and is a reminder of the unconditional love we have for each other as a family that mirrors God’s unconditional love for us! We use this little 3 letter reminder in everything – notes in lunch boxes or coat pockets, texts in the middle of the day, and as decor in our home to remind ourselves of this unchanging aspect of our family’s daily life!

I would LOVE “jbj 97” that is the name of US, my little family and when we were established. John, Brenda & Josh, established in 1997 (my son was 6 years old when I met my husband). My sweet young son just joined the U.S. Army and I miss him so that would be pretty at the entry to our home on the stair case to remind us of our family unit.

Mine would say “Love” and it would go above mine & my hubby’s bed.

For multiple reasons, we are getting married in May and I think it would make for a great thank you photo card on the wedding day but also serve as a great reminder to be thankful everyday for what we have!
