matthias had his first visit to the dentist today.
we were overdue.
since david has more pressing medical needs, sometimes matthias has to wait.
thankfully, he’s a really healthy kiddo.
*
*
he was a little nervous.
*
*
but the staff quickly put him at ease.
{the dentist is a friend of ours.}
*
*
say ahhhhh.
*
*
he was such a trooper during x-rays and cleaning.
he asked all kinds of questions
and reminded the hygienist not to cut his gums.
that kid cracks me up.
*
*
and he got a new toothbrush, floss, sticker and a trip to the treasure box.
yep, going to the dentist pretty much rocks.
{i just can’t wait for my appointment in a couple weeks :)}
Iām also interested in affilate and also search engine marketing.
My little guy just went for the first time, too and I think they are about the same age! Thanks for posting this, I don’t feel so bad since I’m not the only mom who didn’t have them there by 1year! š
Cute pictures. I think if I got to to go to the treasure box I would be a lot more excited about my dentist visits, too. I like the angle of your photos. Your son is really, really cute!
I have to go get my wisdom teeth pulled and have been putting it off because I am a huge chicken. Do you think Matthias could come with me and hold my hand? haha.
i heart going to the dentist. particularly when it’s teeth cleaning time.
*sigh*
can you say, face massage?
friends think i’m nuts but i think they’re missin’ out…
LOL

how cute! i love the last picture! it captures so much personality!
I was a certified dental assistant and one of my favorite jobs was working with the kiddos. He looks like he was the model patient. š
aaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh don’t mention that ‘D’ word – I am absolutely, totally and utter petrified of going to the dentist. Funnily enough the thing that scares me the most is having my teeth cleaned!! Don’t ask me why, I have no idea. I refuse to go to hygienists because I think they are really just frustrated dentists so they aren’t quite as careful as they could be and love inflicting pain! I think the dentist should always do it, after all, he’s the one that needs to know what’s happening in your mouth! I do go to the dentist when I have to but I always come out looking as though I’ve been run over by a truck! Pale and shaky. Ugh… now on to more pleasant things.. Smiles
I love going to the dentist… all my friends think I am crazy – glad I am not the only one š
going to the dentist rocks for us too…since it’s grandpa!
Wait! That was his first dentist appointment EVER? He rocked! He was smiling, so it must not have been too bad. I love his fireman boots, too cute.
Okay confession time…..I happen to love going to the dentist. Truly I do. I love how clean and white my teeth and smile feel and look after a trip to the dentist. I have had some fun work done at the dentist too and I still enjoy going. My dentist is an awesome guy.
Glad he made it through a dentist appointment unscathed. I’ve had to have so much dental work done that I shake each time I get in the dentist chair and come out feeling completely exhausted. :0)
hah! you crack me up — yeah… i bet you are excited to have your turn š
What a cutie! You’re giving your kids a HUGE gift with making going to the dentist a fun experience. How many adults are petrified of the dentist, and here you guys are having fun!!
we love our pedi dentist – the kids call him Dr. Bert (it’s Bert Vasut) He has grape flavored purple gloves and puts crazy flavors into the stuff he uses for making molds for braces. His staff is all very friendly and the whole place is all about kids! If we lived closer to my hubby’s nephew, he would be our dentist – he’s very nice, too!
You do have the best dentist! Love the pics of Matty, especially the one with the nervous smile.
