Hello friends!
Last week we did a photo shoot at a local bed and breakfast. It’s called ‘The Sanitarium’ and it’s been used as a private hospital, a frat house and now it’s been turned into a gorgeous place to stay. It’s so inspiring!
Soak in the photos and at the end I’ll share some hellos for a brand new week!
Hello plane ride! We are leaving Dallas today and flying back home.
Hello sniffles. David’s been sick and it’s no fun!
Hello soaking up time with my brother, his awesome wife and their twin girls.
Hello unpacking and laundry and needing to get the house in order.
Hello cereal for dinner.
Hello doctor visit. David is seeing his GI doctor this week.
Hello meetings.
Hello photo editing. I have some FUN stuff to share soon!
Hello brand new week. I’m not quite ready, but oh well, let’s do this!
Simply lovely!
Beautiful B&B! Very New England!
Beautiful color scheme! Serenity awaits you! lol.
Hope David feels better soon, sweet baby.
p.s. where in Dallas is your brother? I’m in a suburb of Big D! ๐
Fireplace so close to a shower? I must stay there!
Your brother has twins, too? Seriously. You guys need to be part of a study. ๐
Hello to a sick family. That cold/fever thing. Dare I say it’s the flu? Hello to two little girls who have FINALLLLLY learned to play together. For now. Hello to watching lots of finals/presentations in my classes this week as the semester ends. Hello grading, hello father/daughter dance, and hello to a trip to the newest GAP outlet (close to my house!) as my reward for getting my semester grades done….it’s happening!
Stunning photos!
What a gorgeous place to stay, and with so much history. Glad you had a nice visit.
Hope David feels better soon. Safe travels.

What a beautiful B&B! I’m saying hello to an extra day home with my family and to my daughter’s new 4-H rabbit Butterscotch.
Love it! I would love, love to wake up in one of those beautiful rooms with such gorgeous light. Putting it on the “someday” list.
On a technical note, I can’t see the list of link-ups on the blog this week — you need to click through to view them.
Love the stacked books against the white chimney idea and what a beautiful place to draw inspiration from. The photos make me smile. Thanks so much for sharing them with us.
The owner did such a great job decorating. Thank you Susan!

What a pretty place – love that bedstead and quilt. Get well soon, David. Happy Monday. ๐
Oh, that is beautiful…. really beautiful.
I will keep David in my prayers this week – good doctor visits and quick healing!
I have to laugh, imagining the work that had to be done between “frat house” and its current incarnation! ๐
Also? Cereal for dinner is perfectly acceptable Put some raisins on top, and you’ve hit at least 3 food groups!
What a beautiful place to stay! It looks so peaceful.
It was definitely peaceful. I would love to stay there!
Wow, it really is gorgeous. I love all the whites and blues/turquoise walls. They have such a calming effect. ๐
Hope you have a nice week!
