hello stretching and growing

It’s a big week around here as Matthias heads to 6th grade camp. It’s his first time away from home that isn’t staying with family. He’s excited and nervous. I think he’s going to have a fabulous time and I can’t wait to hear all about it. It’s amazing watching him stretch and grow. And every time he stretches and grows, I have to stretch and grow too. And lately, this mama heart has been doing a lot of stretching and growing.

It’s Monday–a new week with so much to be thankful for. How about some hellos?

Hello packing for camp. I hope Matthias has the right clothes–warm enough, cool enough, etc.

Hello missing him already. I love to see him growing up and doing new things. But I’ll miss him this week.

Hello continuing to clean and purge and simplify our home. Oh my goodness, it feels so good. There’s no stopping me!!

Hello looking for new sheets for our master bedroom. I want really comfy sheets. Any suggestions?

Hello finalizing Halloween costumes. We’re going with a family theme this year. More on that soon.

Hello prepping for doctor visits at UCLA next week. David has a few check-ups that {hopefully} will be routine.
