I am so glad it’s Friday! I’m linking up my photos from the week with Jeannett at Life Rearranged. Join us!I was about to take a simple picture of the sky when this bluebird hopped into the shot. I was so pleasantly surprised!
Sometimes even dirty dishes in the sink can catch my eye. I love this color combination.
The other day, David decided he was in no hurry to get up. I think he slept until almost 9am. Doesn’t that sound wonderful?
Part of the January photo a day challenge on instagram–routines. I just love David’s silly smile. And he sure loves bathtime!
We had a pulmonology appointment for David at UCLA on Monday. Then we spent a couple hours at Universal Studios. Matthias couldn’t wait to get cotton candy.
David sure loves his daddy. And his daddy loves him right back.
I came across this photo of the boys the other day and my heart melted. They were so tiny! We were at a pumpkin patch. David was 2 years old and Matthias was about 10 months. Crazy!
Nothing wrong with polka dots and red shoes.
The nights have been super cold, followed by foggy mornings and then sunshine breaking through. It makes everything look kind of magical.
To celebrate Matthias’ birthday with his class we dipped oreos in frosting {I used blue food coloring} and added a few sprinkles. Way easier than cupcakes and super yummy!
We are celebrating Matthias’ birthday with a few friends this evening and then we are ready for the weekend–and some relaxing. I’m hoping to spend some time creating and some time organizing. What are your weekend plans?
Always love seeing your adorable family! Loved, loved the “little boy” picture, simply precious.
Great idea for the oreos, will give it a try for my sons school party, your so dang creative. Blessings, Tara from Oklahoma.
I lOVE following you on instagram & love all your photos. xx
That oreo looks awesome! what a great idea 🙂 And I sure wish my dirty dishes in the sink looked so clean and artistic LOL
the blue oreo dipped sure caught my eye – so easy! will hope to remember that when it comes to birthday time for the girls. or even sooner – a little red frosting on a white cookie for valentine’s day. super cute! just frosting from a can? does the frosting harden at all? or stay soft like on a cake?
and I love the picture of your outfit from your vantage point (polka dots & shoes). what an interesting angle.
thank you for sharing!
yes, it’s just can frosting==warmed in the microwave. it does harden up a bit!
Great pics. Love the pic of your little guys.
I will be working on a paper, praying to embrace this “season.”
I love your pictures by the way – particularly the one of your boys when they were smaller – precious.
And can I just say that “What I Wore Wednesdays” is such a treat. You’ve encouraged me to be a bit bolder – you put everything together so nicely.
The dipped oreos look like such a simple sweet treat! I am looking forward to my very first trip to Universal Studios in March. Have a wonderful weekend!
LOVE red shoes and polka dots! Your boys are very sweet!
love all your photos as usual! your “dirty” dishes are prettier than my clean ones! i need those oreos! David’s smile is like warm sunshine <3
happy weekend!
We have small one’s birthday party tomorrow (polka dots as a theme). It has turned into a monster family get-together. Must get a handle on this for next year.
just wanted to say i adore your blog. (and jewelry!) you are inspiring. thanks for being a part of my everyday.
I will be creating the demon god, Ammut, from ancient Egypt. I don’t sew so this should be interesting. Want to know more and why I would ever want to do this?

I always love your photos! They are so inspiring. I really like the one of the boys when they were little – so dang cute!! WOW!! We don’t have much planned for the weekend. My husband is trying to convince me to go to Cabelas with him 😉 We’ll see about that! Have a good one!
