Hi Lisa
Cafe Vita coffee beans – shipped fresh to our home from Seattle. Freshly ground, the aroma wakes me each morning after hubby begins the brew. I’m rapped in a soft, pink, cozy nightgown and he has already logged a few hours on the Internet, reading papers around the world. Then, we begin yet another retired morning as we both sip our coffees – black, no sugar or cream! Before you know it, the carafe is empty! Aaaaahhhhhhh
black. strong. starbucks…peets…my fav was diedrichs, but they are now closed. i’m sure i’d love keans now. can’t do foofy coffee like carmel mocha fraps and stuff, must have strong black coffee!! and yes, just like you..keep it comin’!
Hi lisa, i used to enjoy checking in on the other CdLS families that you once had linked on your blog. I can’t seem to find those links now that you changed your blog. Are they hidden somewhere? 🙂 One of the women was named misty, and i was then able to find a dozen or so other families off of her blog…Hope your weekend is good so far!
Where to start?? I’d love to comment on others comments!! Nelda–me too!! Buying local is my “job” I am off coffee right now for Lifewater’s “Significant Sacrifice” for Lent and I have to say it has been a real stuggle to keep adjusting my attitude! So, everyone tell me how much you spend on coffee away from home in a 40-day period and I’ll donate that to Lifewater!! My sweet hubby makes my coffee and brings me a cup in the morning—-we ONLY buy SLO Roast Morning Fog Lifter—I drink it any time day or night so according to a SLO pediatrician I have the symptoms of ADHD—-do I, I ask my friends??—-of course I do!!!
My weakness is a non-fat mocha from Starbucks. I’m pretty sensitive to caffeine, so even the small size gets me pretty amped up, ha ha. I am trying to support more of our local businesses though b/c i really am not the type who frequents chain stores…I love Linnea’s in downtown SLo but unfortunately the location makes it a bit hard to get to when i’m in a rush!
Somehow, I made it through university, starting a business and having two children WITHOUT learning to like coffee. But recently, I decided that it was time to join my husband (and millions of others around the world) and learn to enjoy it. I’ve started slowly, with lots of cream and sugar. This week, I had my first Caramel Macchiato and actually, gasp, enjoyed it! Earl Grey tea is still my #1, but slowly and surely, I’m able to enjoy a cup of coffee with my husband. Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks!
I *love* coffee! Lately I’ve been making the Folgers French Roast, with some flavored creamer and a pinch of sugar. In fact…I am having a cup of it right now! =)

flavored creamer or a caramel latte with whipped cream. I’m a bit of a sweet tooth. 😉
I like my coffee with milk and sugar. Yum! It sounds so good right now as it is rainy here. I think I will go make me a pot of coffee!
First…a fab mug, then Starbucks-bolder than bold, cream -the real thing- and a little sug… and then another.
Strong and black. And several cups!
I stop drinking coffee but it sounds sooo good right now.
Plain black coffee straight from the Keurig. At least 4 cups a day. At least.
Mocha blended ice with an extra shot of espresso, no cream! Oooh I think I’ll go get one now!
caramel mocha latte please !! mmmmmmmm
hey Jen! Her blog is called Misty Moo’s Ramblings–try googling it. And i’ll try to get the links up!! xo

It has been raining all day here in W. Columbia, SC. Perfect for taking a nap……and some strawberry ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery! MMmmmmm!
Hope everyone is having a great Saturday!
A 3 point Starbuck’s Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte! My favorite!!
Peach Ice tea….with extra ice!
I love the smell of coffee, just can’t stand the taste…
flavoring ice cream. love the smell, can’t stand the real stuff!
Cream. Cream. Cream. Coffee. Nothin’ like it!
Happy Weekend!
The same as you. Lots of cream-YUM!
HOT with silk creamer and sugar. Yummy!
I usually go for a flavored creamer at home where I drink a pot a day!!
medium roast — 2 splenda lots of cream — at or about 125 degrees – so I can drink it as fast as possible!!!
