heaven smiled down yesterday and BOTH boys fell asleep in the afternoon. I didn’t know what to do with myself–this hasn’t happened in years. So I did what any smart woman would do…I took a nap too. what would you do with a quiet hour in the afternoon??
I would do exactly what you did – and I have on occasion. good for you!
journal. it seems my mind is always needing some quiet time to process what is happening in all the great, but loud, minutes.
Definitely NAP!
So glad you got a nap! I would probably do the same…
Read blogs…
Sleep sounds great to me! in fact I took a 2 hour nap with my daughter today! YAH!
A nap or some reading, most definitely.
Nap too! 🙂
READ!! and fall asleep.
Read and then most likely take a nap!
I remember when my daughter was young. Nap times were the best! I would want to be so creative during that time, but I suspect, taking a nap myself would have been a welcomed indulgence.
I have 4.5 year old twins and they nap every afternoon. (yes, I know I’m lucky!) I usually nap, but when I’m not tired, I catch up on junk TV I’ve recorded on Tivo and sneak into the pantry and eat all the snacks I don’t want the twins to see!
A nap!
A nap sounds good to me… or a book…
NAP!
You take it when you can when you have little ones. Now…at my age, the naps come more often. Of course, it would help if I didn’t stay up all hours of the night and then get woken up by my husband who gets up at 3:30 AM. Then I get up WAY to early and take a mid-morning nap, and another one later…and so on…and so on…and, zzzzzzz.
I would curl up with a good book! So glad you got some well-deserved down time!
