on sunday i felt a little blah. so steve hung out with the boys while i walked around morro bay. it was just what needed! sometimes i just need a few minutes alone to catch my breath. and i snagged those two little red chairs at the top for $5 each. so alone time and a bargain=a refreshed mommy! what helps you to feel refreshed?
I love the pictures of the car & surfboards and the shell shop. So fun. I love Morry Bay! Glad you got to have some time alone to refresh!
Lisa, you always do great pics!
When I need to refresh my mind I walk a lot with my dog or I take a ride on my horse and.. fly on wind wings…
I just had to tell you that I love the green wall and yellow door photo !
Amazing.
Truly.
Love it !
1. Going out for a short swim help me to refresh my mind.
2. If swimming is not an option due to the weather, I take a bubble bath.
3. Talking with friends over Video Phone refreshes my mind.
Glad you got the chance to refresh your mind.
Every time I drive by that gallery with the yellow door I tell myself I’m going to photograph that one of these days! Great minds think alike 😉
For me…
A brisk walk with my dog
Alone time with my Real Simple magazine and a cup of tea
An at home face mask and a fresh coat of nail polish
Beautiful pictures. Very refreshing!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE the shell shop!! It was a favorite when I was growing up and I love to now take my kids there when were are in California!!! YOU SO SO SO SO SO SO SO made my day!!!!
I am refreshed by my best friend. He always seems to know what I need to hear to make me feel better when I am feeling my worst.
I unwind by going out and getting crazzzzzy drunk downtown with my girlfriends! Then the next day, if i have a hangover my sweet husband will take care of the kids for me. 🙂
My best friend refreshes me. An evening with her at a cafe, the hours just seems to fly. Right now we live in different parts of Norway, so we’re down to IM and textmessages.. Getting a text from her is always refreshing 😀
Your pictures should be in a book. Have you ever thought about that? Your visions are spot on in my book!
Your question is great. My kids are older now so my time is more my own, but knitting is always my “go to” when I need to rejuvenate. Creating is what I NEED to do to relax.
What a beautiful day! 🙂 I love those chairs. For me, a chance to really recharge my batteries means a truly creative stint in which I can just put all of my emotion into what I’m working on.
Actually, I’m doing a painting challenge over at the blog inspired by just that very thing, and thought you might be interested. hugs!
Kristin
Beautiful photos, Lisa! 🙂 I love to collect shells, and the Shell Shop is my favorite.
Great photos. We visit Morro Bay yearly and my kids love the Shell Shop. Fun!
I love the pictures and Morro Bay.
Sometimes when I need refreshing I will take a drive with the top down. It is what I look forward to in Spring are the days I can drive with the top down.
I use to go driving up the canyons when I lived down there. Miss the ocean!
I really look forward to your pictures everyday, they are inspiring to me. Live is and can be so simple. Thanks for sharing the little things, no where is my camera?????
glad you were able to have time for yourself . . . it’s so important for the mommy/wife sanity, isn’t it?! alone time and a vintage bargain also make me feel refreshed too. i love those chairs . . . too cute. 🙂
