we stopped on the corner to pick up a basket of strawberries. huge, delicious berries that fill up a five-year-old hand. sweet goodness for smoothies. the perfect red that makes me smile. feels like spring!
Some things are so unfair…the smallest specks of green grass have finally started growing here in southeastern WI and you are picking strawberries?!? I enjoy your photos and gaze with hope that some of that beatuiful weather will soon be heading my way! Love your blog but love your jewelry more! 🙂
strawberry fields forever…. Beatles used to say in a song…. 🙂
I LOVE strawberries: They are my favourite fruit. And I love their taste naturally without lemon, sugar, cream or other things like those!
You have opened my eyes to a whole new world! I have heard all the buzz, but until tonight, I have resisted diving in. Now I’m diving!
Thank you so much for showing us your amazing blog!!!
Fresh strawberries, how wonderful! Here in the Copper Country of Michigan, we still have 5 foot snowbanks in my yard!
Love my tiny squares necklace with my granddaughters names on them-I get compliments all of the time!! Just ordered the petite original for my friend whose daughter just had her first baby at 26 weeks, 5days, and weighed 1 # 13 oz. Now at 3 weeks 6 days weighs 2# 6 oz. I know she’ll love it too.
Same here in Montreal: our local strawberries aren’t ready before the end of June (and most would be half the size of the one on your picture…) In fact, the strawberry is pretty much the first crop to be ready, everything else comes after that, the peak being end of August, beginning of September… Still lots of time to go! Enjoy!!!
Strawberries….ah, I’m so jealous 🙂 Here in Minnesota we don’t get strawberries until June.
Lisa, I created a wishlist today. I wasn’t able to add comments. I entered the text, clicked Update and my text disappeared. Could you let me know if I’m doing something wrong or maybe it’s a glitch? Thanks!
mmmm… delicious! It’s beginning to be MaNgO season over here so I’m excited! We only get baby strawberries though. And I miss having a blender to make smoothies. Enjoy!
