means one antsy mommy. both of the boys are sneezing and coughing…argh! i keep thinking ‘tomorrow they’ll be well’ and they keep being sick. lots of time at home lends itself to folded laundry, play dough, watercolors, bikes in the backyard and a tidy kitchen. you probably think i’ve got some wonderful meal planned for dinner, but by the time 5:30 rolls around i can hardly think straight from being cooped up all day! looks like take-out tonight. maybe tomorrow…
How did our grandmothers do it without take-out? My mom was just telling my children last weekend that when she first heard Frank Senatra sing “when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie” as a teenager, she didn’t even know what a pizza was. I can’t even imagine! Hope the boys get better soon!!!
get well soon david and matty!
miss you guys!
Sorry your kiddos are sick!
thank goodness for takeout! it has saved me from meltdowns more times than i’d like to admit!
I hope everyone feels better soon…hey, takeout is a good thing sometimes! And here’s to clean kitchens!
get well soon boys!!
sorry the kids are sick. hope you didn’t catch it from us. take-out sounds like a great idea.
A mother’s heart!
Prayers for Matty and David!
hey, at least the kitchen is tidy and the laundry is folded. I don’t have ANY sick kids and can’t even manage to get those 2 things done.
You deserve a little take-out!
I agree..no throw up, hey, it’s not ::THAT:: bad…we’ve been cooped up too…miserable, cold weather, and wow, it’s summer vac-a! I totally understand re: takeout…I think its the energy invested in all that laundry detail!!! Banana bread’s in the oven but no laundry was done today…see…it’s a mathematical equation!!!
I feel for you! The only positive thing I can think of for you is that they are not throwing up! AND I do love all the cuddles I get when they are sick…but I hate being stuck inside! I hope they are better soon!
Ah, the joys of sick children. Sometimes it feels like the only thing we can be grateful for when they are sick, is that it is not the kind of illness that throws us into a frenzie of worry. Of course that is no consolation when we are stuck close to home, bored children and all, without an escape hatch.
Ahhh, I’m so sorry you have to deal with two sick boys. I have sick students as well. I guess the weather affects a lot of people.
