He’s thinking about the most direct route to somewhere warm!!!
He’s thinking about the great view he has….love this
I imagine that the bird is an observer of the human race. He checks in on us now and again to make sure we continue to be positive and picks us up with his beautiful songs when we get down. Just a thought. I hope I win the necklace so I can wear that positive reminder.
“I love it when the breeze blows and the wire bounces a little bit. That sun feels good.” (And what wonderful thoughts everyone has shared – silly, inspirational, reflective, hopeful, wistful… a lovely read, thank you!)
i love your stuff! and i think he is thinking how perfect the world really is…
The little bird is thinking: “Gosh, I’ve got a stiff neck!” 😉
how adorable!!!!! very simple. I love it!
I love the color in this one! 🙂 I also love the reminder to slow down and be still. I just had a new baby and I have another at home so I’m reminding myself to slow down and just enjoy the moments instead of trying to be “supermom” and get it all done.
The birdie probably isn’t thinking about much more than the beautiful breeze through his feathers and the sun on his back.
he’s thinking about flying and singing and freedom and joy.
He’s thinking I should go live in Georgia!!
I imagine that sweet little bird is learning to fly. Maybe she just took her first flight and her heart is hammering in her chest and she is gearing up to try again.
Thinking of how sweet spring time will be with little chickies in the nest.
He’s thinking of his friends…birds of a feather flock together! 😉
He’s thinking of life and all its glory!
sharing this on facebook!
I tweeted! http://twitter.com/thestuks
That is a beautiful necklace- LOVE the turquoise! That little birdie is waiting for his friend to come back 🙂
I think the bird on the wire is enjoying being able to get away from all the hustle and bustle of everything. He’s able to take a moment for himself but because of his high perch, he’s also able to see the bigger picture. I think this is something we should all try to do, take a moment to sit back and relax, get away from it all, and remind yourself that away from the craziness of everyday life, there is more, and it is simple and beautiful.
This is a beautiful necklace! I find your jewelry so inspiring!
The little bird must be deciding what to do next. Fly around and have some fun or go in search of some food!
I think the bird is thinking about freedom. The freedom to just open your wings and take flight…leaving all cares and worries on the ground.
posted on facebook!
Come what may… cheers to the new year!… pretty sure that’s what the little birdie must be thinkiing.

I’m thinking that little bird is thinking how lonely she is and who will love her… Hmm…hope it’s me. Thanks for the giveaway. beautiful artwork!
I think the birdie is thinking of new adventures for the new year. What a charming necklace!
I think she must be thinking about the little babes back in the nest. Lovely necklace Lisa!
I think the little birdie is wondering what all the fuss is about. Why are we always rushing around…busy instead of enjoying the view like he is.
It is thinking about the Beatles song Blackbirds
That little birdie is thinking about how beautiful the world is!
OOPs was supposed to say what little bird was thinking…think I will head home to my cozy nest and have a little rest…

If I were wearing this necklace the little birdie would be thinking “why is it so darn cold today and when is this snow going to stop!”.
i shared on facebook 🙂
the little birdie is probably laughing at us humans because we always think that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence… but the birdie can see that it’s all the same 🙂
My husband owns a hotel in our teeny tiny town and he has a dove that has built a nest under the carport. I often see the dove perching on a power line when I am on my way home from work and she seems to be so satisfied in her little world. I think that the little birdies that perch on the power lines are laughing at us because we have to take cars when we travel and all they have to do is flap their wings and enjoy the view!!!
The little birdie is looking forward to 2010 and all its possibilities.
I am sure he is thanking the dear lord that he is not in Nebraska right now! It is way too cold!
Bird on a Wire is the banner on our ph-balanced blog! One of the birds on our blog banner says “Say Something!” I love the simplicity and modern mix of the necklace.
The bird is thinking about one of two things. It is either thinking about te gorgeous view or it is thinking about not falling off the rather high wire.
Beautiful!
I think it is thinking ,where is my mommy:)
He is thinking about how much better this year is going to be
oh, dear God, I want that necklace!
The bird, I imagine, is enjoying a moment of peace, contemplating the beauty around it.
The birdy is thinking about how lucky he is to be outside on such a lovely day!
He is thinking about how happy he is that he is free and that he can fly
Little bird is just enjoying the pause, the deep breathe after a busy day, at peace while beauty and chaos surround. Wait, or is that me?
i think the little birdy is thinking about naptime =)
If he’s any where near the midwest (where we live), he’s thinking how do I get out of here to a warmer place … I guess that’s what I’ve been thinking too the last week. Brrrr….. Maybe Monday it might be in the 30’s a heat wave!
He is definitely thanking God that he was created to a bird. Thankful he is not one of the crazy, busy, worrying, materialistic creatures he watches from the wire.
The little bird is trying to figure out what tune to sing next. I’m thinking a hymn, perhaps “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing”.
The birdie on the wire is thinking “I would love to adorn the neck of a lovely lady who is celebrating her first year of sobriety.”
Definitely not worrying.
Why he/she likes to sit on the wire?
i think he’s thinking that it’s waaaay to cold in Texas right now
Such a pretty idea. Thanks for your generosity.
I think the birdie is thinking about the beautiful sunshine.
I think the little bird is thinking about his next adventure.
I’m thinking if there were any little birdies sitting around here they’d be frozen to the wire wishing they would have gotten the heck out a dodge before it got cold! 🙂 NEGATIVE 26 here tonight! Yikes!
No… nobody else has spotted that worm. It’s all mine.
” what are the humans doing so much sound? they could have such a beautiful melody..”
Sorry for my bad english, i’m french! =)
the necklace is just fantastic, and the idea of the giveaway great! 😉
It’s so nice being free and independent Why those two feeted who are stuck in earth have so many worries?
“His eye is on the sparrow and I know He’s watching me”
You are the best! 🙂
if he’s here in StLouis, he’s probably wishing he flew South for the winter! 🙂 Adorable necklace- Thanks for the chance to win!
where i’ve parked my car…
and i love the photography book! thanks for sharing where you got your fab ideas 🙂
The bird is thinking that he wants to join the lisa leonard necklace that arrived at my house today. He is wanting to come to Indiana so he can see the foot of snow and be reunited with the most beautiful necklace in the world!

THAT LITTLE BIRDIE IS SITTING THERE THINKING “I WOULD LOOK GOOD AROUND JACKIE’S NECK, I WANT TO GO LIVE WITH HER” XOXO
I am loving birds right now. I think I should have followed my great, great, great, great grandfathers profession as an ornithologist.
Birdie is smiling at the site of looking in my window at my 3 year old Cinderella dancing in her plastic high heels!
Flying far, far away…..
She is looking forward to the snow melting, sun shining and for her little birdie to be able to be outside in the warmth of spring. Ok…so maybe that is what I am looking forward to! 🙂
Peace, serenity & joy!
The birdie is thinking about nothing. Good little Zen bird with a still, empty mind 🙂
Thanks for the chance!
Kelly @ TLE
I love this bird on a wire! It is a good reminder for all of us to pull back and look at the bigger picture of what is going on around us. (amazing how the details sometime are clearer and make more sense when you look at the big picture). Nice choice in stones surrounding it … like robin’s eggs!
Spring is just around the corner
And that is a gorgeous picture of you btw!
800 comments, wow! Can you possibly read all of these? Haha, well Lisa I love staying updated on your life thru your blog & you really do inspire me to be more creative! The little bird is definitely thinking that she should fly to Dallas & pay me a visit, doesn’t she have relatives in Texas? Hope you guys are doing well & happy new year =) Miss you!
Oh, and facebookin’!
Great giveaway! I got that book in my stocking this year from my hubby! I love it! I think that Birdie is thinking “pick me, pick me, please”…just kidding. I think he’s thinking: “the view from up here is incredible!”
Thanks for a great giveaway!
This is my favourite necklace design yet! I think the birdie is watching for it’s friends to join it on the line.
The book looks like a great one and has piqued my curiosity. I love unique photography ideas; it’s a great way to help you see things around you in a different light; to see the potential beauty in the mundane. It gives me a great excuse to play around with my camera and to take even MORE creative pictures.
The little birdie hopes her feet won’t freeze to the wire!
This little guy is thinking…”life is good”.
“I wish it were warmer”
This little birdie isn’t thinking at all – she’s just soaking up the sun and feeling fine!
I need a new necklace for the new year – I hope I win!!!

I am sure I can’t say anything that hasn’t already been said by 777 previous posters :)… but I think the bird is saying ” When will the world be at peace like us birds”?
Great necklace as always. I have been saving some money to order another necklace(i have one) from you but now this just makes the choice harder! Or maybe just maybe I will get lucky and win one then buy another! 🙂
He’s thinking, “I hope Ingrid gets off the computer & comes outside to refill the birdie feeders!”. We have an amazing assortment of birdies in our yard and refilling the hummingbird nectar and bird seed is a daily to-do around here! 🙂
The little birdie is thinking she needs to be around my neck. I sooooooo need her to remind me to stop rushing. Everyday I rush through life and am afraid I am teaching my beautiful twins to be the same way. I need this birdie to help me change in this new year…….for some reason I have not been able to do it on my own.
just posted to facebook!
I beleive she is thinking about her loved ones and how she hopes they are doing well.
😉 Great design love the necklace!
she’s thinking that if she scoots over a little bit, there will be room for that cute little birdie on the next tree over.
she’s probably thinking how nice it is to just be who she is without any concern for what others think of her…even when her feathers get ruffled :~)
i think the little birdie is thinking about what lies ahead and of all the possibilities.
I just found your blog and I LOVE your jewelry! I’m going to start saving my pennies and buy some asap.
I’m sure the birdie is admiring the view and loving that he can fly.
I think the birdie is waiting for his love to meet him. 🙂
Oops…tried to correct typos and it posted twice…sorry 🙁
I think he’s thinking about how much he can’t wait for SPRING!
Ya know….I was on here earlier and was browsing thorugh the comments and thought to myself….I don’t have anything to say that hasn’t already been said, really….granted I didn’t actually read ALL 700 something comments ; ) But, then….I was in the hustle and bustle of making breakfast for my children and I glanced out the kitchen window to see 2 chubbie little birdies in my backyard. I focused on the one sitting on the wood fence….noticing how warm a full he looked eventhough the windchill was -5 degrees this morning. Then I looked at the remnants of snow on the ground and thought ….where’s the food? How can he be so full? Then God whispered in a still small voice….remember my Words???? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Matthew 6:26
I thought about the bird on your necklace….I bet he’s sitting there thinking the same thing. : )
I think the bird’s interest has been captured by something.

…i’ll fly away, oh glory
i’ll fly away (in the morning)
…when I die hallelujah, by and by–
i’ll fly away
Don’t you get it? it’s not that complicated! Look around you – see the beauty in the sky, in the trees, the gentle winds that let me soar the flow of a lazy stream. Take a deep breath and look around you and have joy!

Awesome necklace…as always. That bird is thinking how awesome he is for getting to fly above the rest of us and be at peace all the time.
I think the bird is just enjoying a quiet moment to herself and taking in it’s surroundings
He’s thinking….Life is good!
I think he is wondering why we are all in such a rush all the time…
“What a cozy resting place, here on the bosom of a woman.”
The bird’s wondering why humans seem to have such a hard time living in peace with each other…we just have to give the same love we want in return.
He’s thinking, “Im glad I get to fly above the madness”.
At this moment? He’s thinking “Man is it cold out here. My little feet are fweeezing.”
Ok that was incredibly cheesy.
If that bird’s in Chicago, it’s probably wondering why all the wires are so filled with snow that there’s nowhere to land!! Great necklace, Lisa. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
P.S. Birdie is thinking about the tune he is going to sing in my window this spring!
Ok, Just want you to know that Lynn posted you on facebook….and I love your work! Just want you to know that I think Lynn should win! I want the book…I love learning about fun shots!
I think the little bird is wondering when he can fly back north again and come join us up here in beautiful British Columbia… I have a safe spot to keep him, too 😉 Thanks for the chance… love the colours.
I think the bird is wondering about the meaning of life or else appreciating the jewelry makers good taste in placing the birds image on a necklace.
I facebooked here.

I think that bird is thinking how wonderful it is to spread her wings and just FLY!!!!
I imagine the birdie is thinking about where in the world he wants to fly today…the possibilities are endless thanks to his God given talent!
The birdie is always thinking of her babe, and soon-to-be babes! They’re not my kiddos, but my nephews sure do have my heart…my little “dukes”: Beau, 1 1/2, and Luke, due Feb 7th!!! My sister absolutely ADORES her petite charm bracelet with their names on it that I gave her for Christmas that you made!! Thank you! Your work is simply amazing 🙂
the beauty of being a bird is that he has no worries, no regrets, no stress. His only thoughts are of the bounty of blessings his heavenly father gives to him each day: the clear blue sky, a wire to rest upon, an early morning worm and the warmth of a nest.
just FB’d it! 🙂
“Tweet. Life is sweet.”
i think that birdie is thinking about nothing at all. not. a. single. thing. just relishing in the pure stillness & calmness. ahhh, how lovely would that be?! {as a mom of two young ones, i relish in those quiet moments!}
The birdie is thinking about spring!
Our youngest grandson is sick today…thinking the little bird is watching over all the kids who
are ill today and praying for a better tomorrow. Thanks for a chance to win one of your most
meaningful necklaces yet.
If that little bird is from the Midwest, he’s watching all of this crazy snow come down and wondering when it’s going to stop!
Peace and quiet.

Love your new creation – if he is living in my area he is wishing he would have migrated sooner – it is uncommonly COLD in TX. Thanks again for your generosity.

LOVE the necklace! and would LOVE it have it 😉 i imagine the bird is looking around thinking, “does there really NEED to be a starbucks on EVERY corner?”
I just told all my FB friends about your gorgeous designs and your necklace giveaway and posted a link to your website. I hated to let more people on the chance to win the necklace, but it was the right thing to do. If they don’t already know about you, I know they will love your beautiful jewelry. My DIL loved the necklace I got her for Christmas!
Now, I think our little birdie is sitting on the wire waiting for the sun to rise. She is chirping a happy little tune…maybe “His Eye is on the Sparrow.” She is happy and content spending some quiet time with the Lord before she starts a new day.
He’s thinking “take each day as it comes.”
I love all of these giveaways! Thanks for sharing!!
that little bird is watching us rush around, wondering why we do, and is about to spread her wings a ride the wind to show us how to slow down and play.

Where’d everybody go??
Happy New Year! Love your blog. : )
Appreciating his ability and the magic of flight.
I think the little birdie is sitting on the wire talking to God and counting her blessings. She is spending time with her creator and just looking “from up here” at the beautiful world that God created. It’s right before dinner time, and she’s waiting for all her little babies to come home to tell her about their adventures that day. She probably has a nice little dinner ready and can’t wait to reconnect with her family after a long day.
Gorgeous necklace, Lisa! I’ll bet it looks great with your aqua earrings! Very nice job! 🙂
He is taking a ME day sitting on that wire. Because all of us need one (or five) of those every now and then.
It’s thinking about springtime being just around the corner (or at least that’s what I tell myself even though it’s only 2.5 weeks into winter!). 🙂
“Take a chill pill down there!!!” This is a great necklace and even if I don’t win, I’m so buying it.
How COLD it is in Kansas….they want to stay in Texas!

Wow! What a charming necklace!
flying high through sunny days
flying high through rain seeped clouds
where will i fly today?
I know …to happy lands of you and me
to rainbow fields of blue and green
My wings will take me far and near
but you are the one i will hold forever near
…thought from a birdie
Love the necklace!
I would bet he is thinking about how lucky he is to be watching all of us scurrying around below him, and counting his blessings he can fly above it all!! XOXO
Little bird thinks how lucky he is to have a bird’s eye view. Excellent reminder to keep life simple. Thanks!
He’s thinking…
If I fly high enough will I reach heaven?

The little birdie is thinking about joining the flock.
Beautiful!
I have no idea what that little birdie might be thinking, but I’m thinking I’d sure love such a sweet and beautiful necklace! Another amazing creation, Lisa!
Oh my gosh!! It is a long way down.
The little bird is thinking about all the joy he doesn’t see in the people he sits above. He wonders how so many can miss out on the color of the sky, the puffiness of the clouds, the smell on the streets, the cacophony/symphony of the horns, cars, and tires on asphalt. He feels sorry for those who do not fly with the wings we’ve been given.
What a gorgeous necklace! I think the birdie is thinking about all the wonderful place she can go and see way up there. Where it is peaceful and more beautiful than one could imagine.
I tweeted about the giveaway http://twitter.com/MyTwilife

I think he’s wishing he was looking up at my face!
…ok, fine maybe not. heehee.
MAYBE, he’s thinking about how lucky he is going to be to look up at SOMEONE’s beautiful face, wishing he were like us- fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of our Creator.
I think the bird is thinking about how great the salty sea air feels on his face! 🙂 At least that is what I would be thinking about! 🙂
He might be thinking with all the craziness down there, I am glad I am up here! 🙂
How great it must be to fly without a care in the world. Beautiful necklace!
I think he/she is daydreaming about finding the perfect mate to share life with!
I bet the bird is thinking about the berry that she had just eaten and went to sit on the wire to savor the flavor, and watch the sun rise
He’s staring off into the distance, wondering whatever happened to that cute little girl bird he went to bird elementary school with, and what she’s doing now with her bird life, and if she ever thinks of him…
What a sweet little bird! She is thinking of her past and of what lies ahead for her. She is contemplating her new journey and is uncertain, but is ready to fly off the wire!
This little birdie is thinking….life IS simple up here, but I sure would love to have a companion sitting here with me.
I think the bird is thinking about how thankful he is that he was made with love. And is looking forward to sharing that love to those who will wear and share him.
the bird is thinking about taking a nap because why not? it’s a nice sunny day and i have all the time in the world.
I imagine that the little birdie is looking at the trees surrounding him and seeing how they have lifed their “hands” (branches) in worship to the King of the Universe. I imagine that the little birdie can see and hear more than we can and can hear the giant worship chorus going on “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God almighty”.
I want to be like that little birdie……
ptcbass just posted giveaway to facebook! Yeah!
I’m pretty sure the birdie is wondering why all of the crazy people are sticking their chewed gum on a wall, re: Jan. 7th’s post. Or maybe he is marveling about how good it feels to soar with his wings spread and nothing to get in his way, smooth, calm and peaceful.
@saltwaterwinds just tweeted about this giveaway.
It is showing the world how great God can create an an amazing creature ,and how God loves each and every creature that he has made.
The birdie is thinking about hugs and kisses, of course!
I think the little bird is thinking about the sunshine and how great spring will be when it gets here. Come on warmer weather!

The little birdie on the wire is thinking about what would happen if the power went out and there was an electric shock! Oh dear. Thanks
Heather
I think the birdie is thinking about how amazing it is to fly far and free above disease and destruction, anger and hurt, hate and cruelty.
That little birdie is thinking she is going to take her little birdie butt inside, climb into the recliner and enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate in front of the wonderful warming fire. Crazy girl missed the migration. SIgh
I think he’s thinking…if….only….I…could…turn…my…head…to…the…right…

I think the bird is breathing in God’s air and waiting to soar away on the next gust.
The little bird is probably thinking that he would like a brand new handmade scarf to keep himself warm through the whole winter, when he outgrows it, he will pass it on to his smaller friend, edmund chickadee

beautiful, Lisa! I think the birdie is saying “why are they all going so fast??” I feel that way when I am in a plane and you look down at the first site of life, where cars become more than a steady stream of light or dark and you can almost sense the frantic pace, you begin to worry about whether or not YOUR freeway home looks like a parking lot, and you get caught up in it all again. I often wish I could just sit up there, like your little birdie for awhile and wonder what is the rush?
Facebooking now 🙂
Well that necklace is just beautiful!
I was sooooo happy today to receive the two custom necklaces I had ordered for 40th birthday gifts just in time for this weekend!
Your work is lovely! Have a great day!

I do believe that birdie was just on my fence saying, “Dear lady, thank you kindly for the treat of sunflower seeds, the snow is soooo cold”. 🙂
The bird necklace should fly away to my home!
This little birdie was in my house on Monday (by mistake of course) and so I know he is saying he feels much better being out in the great big world instead of the 4 walls of my house.

The little birdie is thinking about how glad he is that he’s able to slow down and just watch the world go by.
I think the little birdie is thinking about food, shelter, the necessities of life. The little bird is probably also savoring the sunshine and wondering why we humans are spend so much time caught up in or chasing things that really don’t matter while our children look on wondering why they aren’t important enough for us to be chasing them, playing with them, reading to them, savoring their moments! I’m going to go hug my son right now!
She is thinking she would like to move to live near my new cabin when I move in a couple weeks!
I’m thinking the little bird is a Robin looking, from up high, for it’s namesake,” me”, in the northern most part of Upper Michigan, wanting to go home!!
That bird on the wire isn’t thinking, he is enjoying the quiet and just being. Love, love, love this beautiful new necklace. Would look great around my neck!

I think she is thinking about her lovely ‘husband’ bird – some birds mate for life, like swans… and is glad and thankful everyday for the sweet companionship and adventure they share.
The little Birdie is thinking about watching over me today like my Guardian Angel. Making sure I get through the day with my children and my family. Granting me the strength to deal with my fathers Alzheimers, to embrace everyone around me and not to let the “small” things get to me.

that birdie is sitting on the wire looking at Gods creation and adoring the beauty of it, then looking down at all us people and thinking: they are all in such a hurry that they don’t see the beauty of God’s creation because they are too distracted to see it!!
“I could really go for a big juicy worm right about now.”
They look like ants from up here. 😀

I imagine that little birdy way up there is thinking how clear the view is when you are so free 🙂
He’s probably thinking, “what is the rush?”… wish I were sitting on a wire, instead of my office! :o)

He wondering when my husband is going to refill the bird feeder. (Me too, little birdie.)
Her little peepers.

Also facebooked ! 🙂
He is thinking about his next flight and taking a leap of faith.
Really beautiful necklace. 😉
Maybe this little bird is not thinking at all. Maybe he just “is”–is one with the earth, the wind, the sky, and his creator. The older I get the more stuff seems to clutter up my mind, and sometimes all I want to do is just turn everything off. Some of my favorite things are to lie on the beach and feel the sun on my skin, or to sit on the porch during a storm and smell the rain, or to catch a snowflake on my tongue and just savor the moment. Oh, to have the freedom of this little bird on a wire to rise above the worries and cares of life and just sit there and “Be” for a while. Hey! I do have that freedom. I can sit on my wire for a while whenever I want !
That little bird is thinking how much he wants to fly to my house and perch in my jewelry box! Thanks for the great giveaway!
Nothing like a handmade piece of jewelry. Delicate. Creative. Lovely.

Thanks for the chance … Happy New Year!
I think that little bird if thinking it would love to be hanging around my neck ! 🙂
I think the little birdie is thinking about the New Year and new start that he’s about to adventure into! Thanks for the opportunity!

snow has been falling half the night and almost all of today, and i imagine the little birdie is thinking, “i should have flown south when i had the chance.” i love the new necklace. so so cute!
My little birdie is realising he just doesn’t need to fly away to be free. He is free because he is a bird. He is free because he knows he can fly. he is free because he doesn’t have to think. He just is!
And that’s why we always say – Free as a bird!!
Wonderful give away. I’m going to tweet this …and add your wonderful blog to my blog list. I’m doing a give away of inspirational calligraphy if you have time to drop by (see Dec 31st @Signed by Ange)
Today, the birdie is thinking “brrrrrrr, it’s cold!”. Thanks for sharing the giveaway!
The birdie is thinking we all need reminders that He provides for the least of these.
I think the bird is enjoying the view!
“The reason birds can fly and we can’t is simply that they have perfect faith, for to have faith is to have wings” -James Matthew Barrie
add me again, cause i’m facebooking your give away!
i want to win this giveaway! sign me up.
just yesterday i was sitting in the a.m. watching as some lit’l birds flew to the edge of our roof, than dove to the ground. they seemed to be playing a game with each other. they were darling, and those moments were peaceful.
i think they weren’t thinking- were just living, flying, enjoying. the bird on the wire is a reminder to me to stop, not just physically, but everything, take in some rest, and then begin again.
He’s wondering how long he can sit on that wire and enjoy his break.
He’s wondering, “are you my mother?”
Lisa,
I love your necklaces and have so been itching to get another…they always match my mood or something I just through on…they are amazing! I have also really needed a reminder of how things need to be simple!
I think the little birdie is sitting there in awe of all the hustle and bustle below him – and thinking how much better it would be if people would remember Luke 12:24, “Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?”
Little Birdie – oh how i think i may sit in the sun awhile
The birdie is thinking: “Hey! Where’d everyone go? Don’t we usually flock together on wires? Did I get the wrong wire again!?!”
“I wonder when my family will be joining me on my little wire to share this great view with me”
I’d say, with his bird’s eye view, he is thinking “What’s all the hurry down there?”
I bet the birdie is wondering what all the hustle and bustle is all about… God provides for him, why don’t we stop worrying and allow God to provide fur us too?
“Wonder if I could fly all the way to the moon?”
He’s thinking about what’s going to happen in the next year and wondering if it is going to be as crazy as the last!
I think the bird is thinking how lucky it is to have such freedom to move from one place to another and what a beautiful view it has from this perch.
Maybe he’s thinking, I love my creator. (You decide if he means God or you, LL!) I LOVE this piece. It just shot to the top of my LL wish list.

I think he is thinking about where to fly to next. He looks like a very forward thinking bird!
I think the birds are wondering what the fuzz is all about!
If I was that little birdie, I’d be thinking about a nap today!
He’s thinking about why all the humans down below don’t slow down to enjoy the world around them. [email protected]
I think the bird is thinking about getting reunited with all the bird friends that have already headed south for the winter. Spring must be a good time for bird reunions. Bring it on!!

I posted this on facebook, but couldn’t figure out how to link to show that I did due to my privacy settings. Love your jewelry… especially all of the birds!
Okay, just posted on my Facebook!
As a native Californian now living in Northern Virginia, I think this little bird is telling ME to slow down, stop, be in the moment w/ my son (special needs) as I tackle his special diet and therapy here at home……AND to stop complaining about the cold temps (longing for my flip-flop beach climate back home)….HE has us here for a reason in this season! Thanks Lisa. Love your jewelry and blog (met you thru your sister at CCCLH.)
Facebook shared.
I imagine the little birdie to be daydreaming the day away…..nothing to do but sit high up on a wire, gazing around at her surroundings.
He’s thinking he can’t wait ’til Spring! =)
I think that birdie is thanking God for His provision and for the beauty he sees before him. What a beautiful way to bring a reminder of calm in our own lives.

Why the little birdie on the wire is sighing with relief at having escaped the paparazzi since Ms. Leonard made him a celebrity on one of her designer jewelry pieces! He is probably singing a little song of thankfulness up on that wire.
Darling piece, as always. Such talent.
I think the bird is wondering when lunch is. That’s what my youngest is asking, so it seemed appropriate!
You have beautiful jewelry!
From the cold, freezing snow in Indy, that birdie has to be thinking, “and why didn’t I just fly south” . But to me it speaks of SIMPLICITY, which happens to be my word this year! Just taking things easy, not stressing, and enjoying life and all it has to offer. As always love the design and thanks for the opportunity to win!
Just tweeted and facebooked this!
Love, love, love your stuff! Will be getting hubby’s Feb. b-day gift from you!
I’m purchasing that book today! Thanks!

I love this necklace! I think the birdie is thinking how amazingly wonderful it is to be a birdie, singing the days away.
I think this bird is resting simply because it’s time to rest….which is something we should all be respectful of regarding ourselves! Sometimes you just need to lay down your head and rest easy before the next task. Love the design!
I love this! And the aqua beads add such a lovely touch. I bet that birdie is waiting on his friends so they all could fly south together. It’s a long trip to make all by yourself 🙂
Just precious!!
Facebooked! http://www.facebook.com/lizannspencer
Oh my goodness, Lisa, you have taken your art to a whole new level!! I adore this design. I think the bird just might be contemplating who to drop a surprise on. hmpfh!
If the little birdie is in Iowa, she’s not seeing anything beause it is snowing and blowing here so hard you can’t hardly see out my front door.
I think he’s seeing all the food we have leftover from Christmas – sweet boxes, Christmas cake, mince pies, sausage rolls, etc and wishes and hopes we’d throw some out for him and his family to eat and enjoy 🙂
The little birdie reminds me of my sweet angel daughter who passed away when she was 13 days old. She flew to heaven and looks down upon us here on Earth. One day, we will meet again. Love, love your jewelry. : )
She is thinking about twitting!
I think the little birdie is saying, “if only they could see what I see from up here. Then they’d know how beautiful they all really are and how magnificent their world is. And then they would believe.”. Deep thoughts for a little bird but he has a lit of time to think fro
up there on that wire.
I imagine the birdie is thinking how lucky he is that you created him!!
I think the bird is thinking “be still” for just a moment.
If he is here in MO he is thinking about finding a place with no snow so he can find some food. I have really been thinking of the birds and all the animals that live outside right now. We have so much snow and seriously negative temps. I just love your creativity.
Oh how beautiful!!!! LOVE the new necklace design. I bet the bird is thinking “ha, all those people rushing around down there-I can just hang out here all day and relax!”

I also re-tweeted your tweet about the contest. Can’t link to it from work, but my twitter ID is rlmoore1
I think he is trying to decide what is the best way to fly south. Wish I could join him!
That adorable little bird must be thinking “Why didn’t I join all of my friends when they left to fly south for the winter? I’m cold and lonely.”

Thinking about all the snow that should start to fall at noon here today . . . Can’t wait to be “snowed in” with the kids so we can sled and spend time together!
Great new piece and btw, I just LOVE my necklace that my hubby ordered from you—Thanks!
Beautiful necklace. I think the bird might be wondering where his/her friends are… in late fall and spring, in an area near us, there are hundreds of birds that land on overhead wires and then swoop around in big groups. It amazes me every time. I’ve even stopped to take pictures of the birds on the wire. Love this.
hmmmm…i imagine this little birdie to be wondering which blessed, beautiful woman will get to wear me…
I think he’s thinking “I wish it was Spring”!
I would imagine he’s thinking about how big the world is and how much he has left to see, after he finds lunch. 🙂
Great idea for a necklace. It’s beautiful!
I think he’s thinking how peaceful it is up there and how crazy we all are down here rushing around and not taking time to enjoy the peaceful moments!!! Kind of reminds you to stop and remember what life is really all about!
Despite all the heartache and grief, if I had to do it over again…I would so that I could experience the joy and love for a second time.
He’s wondering where to fly off next…
It is thinking how cool it would be if a worm appeared. Yep, lunch! Absolutely love the necklace!
I think the little birdie is thinking, “all those people down there need to stop and smell the roses.” Lisa~that orange is a great color on you! So great to see you the other day. xoxo
I think the bird is thinking about how peaceful it is up there & how crazy we all must be down here! 🙂 I love this necklace! I love all of your necklaces! 🙂
I also just shared this giveaway on facebook and my blog!
The bird is thinking that my wife would LOVE this necklace!
I love this new necklace and thank you so much for the chance to win! I think that the bird is watching people….he’s probably thinking how crazy we are. We always have something to do and somewhere to go and if you all are like me, we are usually doing these things in a hurry. I bet it looks quite funny to watch! It really is a small reminder to slow down once in a while at least!
He’s thinking “what a beautiful day!”
I think the little birdie is thinking about serenity. Taking a break from all its flying and stopping to watch the wind blow.
Wow! The new necklace is just beautiful! I think he’s dreaming of a snow day. Oh, wait, that’d be me!
I think the little birdie is dreaming about her next big adventure in the sky.
He’s thinking about his food (says the very pregnant lady!). 🙂
He’s thinking about how he would love to make his home around MY neck.
if that little birdie were sitting on a wire here, he’d be wondering… when, oh when will i see the sun again?!
i wish i had’nt skipped breakfast now where’d that worm go
the little bird is wondering what all the fuss is about down below.
Ah, this is the life!
The birdie is thinking “what a super cute kid”, as he’s watching my son play while hanging from around my neck!!! Happy New Year!
Tweeted 🙂
I love this giveaway. The bird is thinking about its next flying adventure
His eye is on the sparrow and I KNOW he watches me.
So beautiful! I imagine that bird is just taking in the peacefulness of the morning – just like I’m trying to do right now.
I posted on facebook 🙂
Definitely just catching her breath and enjoying the scenery before continuing on her journey!
I think that bird is is looking at the sky and loving all of life, whether it’s simple or complicated. That’s what I’d do if I were a bird!
I think the bird is contemplating the meaning of life or possibly just his next meal.
Lovely!
If I were that bird, I’d be enjoying the peace and quiet and solitude, and then would probably take a nap.
(Did I mention that I’m the mother of a VERY ACTIVE 2 year old whose molars are coming in?)
I think the bird is just taking it all in and hanging. Just what we should try to do every once in a while!
This little birdie is thanking God for his wings so he doesn’t have to be down around all the crazy drivers who don’t know how to drive in the snow and are going too fast. 🙂
I think the birdie is thinking about singing a song of praise to His beautiful Creator.
he’s probably wondering where his friends are!! I always see birds in flocks, rarely flying solo!
I would say SHE is thinking. ” From Up Here, Life Is Grand”
If that little birdie is a mama I’m sure she is thinking about what she should feed her kiddos for dinner, something healthy would be great, but mac and cheese sounds like winner…how much homework will need to get done…will everyone get a bath or shower tonight (including mama?)…will she get the kids in bed by 8:00 so she can have an hour all to herself, maybe even spend a little quiet time with her hubby…and then remember how blessed she is to have such a wonderful life! What a beautiful necklace Lisa!
That bird is wishing he would have flown further south for the winter. We’re getting single digit lows down in Mississippi and that NEVER happens!
My little birdie is thinking about her new addition on the way!
I think the little bird is wondering if it’s worth always being the early bird.
That little birdie must be wondering… “why all the hustle and bustle down there? I have nothing to worry about, He has everything under control and meets all of my needs”
Love the colored stone, beautiful.
that little birdie is thinking – i need some warm sunshine on my little face !!!
I think the little birdie is thinking I didn’t fly far enough south! It’s cold down here too!
I love your designs and I’m so envious of your eye for photography!
I imagine she is thinking about which way she wants the wind to take him…how she should change her life…which path should she follow, where will God take her when she choices to follow him…oh wait, that might be what I am thinking! Which is why this necklace would be a perfect fit…Love all your work!!
Spring! Spring! and no more of this frigid weather!
I tweeted about this giveaway 🙂
http://twitter.com/vintagefrog/status/7479887975
That little birdy is thinking about spring and wishing it were here!!! Love your designs.
Cheryl Sims
I think that little bird is thinking “I bet those people down there wish they would fly and relax up here like I can” which is true.
🙂
Thank you for this great opportunity!
Mr.Bird is thinking he is glad he got up early and got a jump on the day!
Wishing you the best in 2010!!
i think the birdie is thinking he wants to rest around Mel’s neck! 🙂 Thanks for the beautiful giveaway! I really hope I get this one! I think that everytime though…
If the birdie is in Omaha, he’s thinking when is this weather going to stop!!!:)
I imagine the birdie is thinking about what a nice giveaway and wishes he/she could sign up for it….heeheehee!
If the birdie is outside your window looking in, I’m sure the birdie is wishing to come in and share the warmth.
Happy New Year,
What a great way to start off the year!
I imagine that the bird is just enjoying his view of God’s creation. I’m sure it is even more wonderful from up there.
I think if he lives in any southern state right now, he’s thinking about snow!!
maybe this bird is practicing being mindful which is what i have vowed to do this year …..
I think he is wondering why we are all running around, crazy with worry. God has taken care of him and he knows He will take care of us, too.
Maybe the bird is resting on her way south. She would love to take shelter on a nearby patio, but the cat sits there patiently, too! I think teh stones look a little like robin’s eggs; maybe she is looking to the future?
I would imagine that bird is wondering where all the other birds are. When our four year old sees lots of birds on a wire he always says they are at “bird church.” Maybe this bird just got to the service a little early.
I think that birdie is thinking about a great plan to come inside my kitchen and steal a piece of my recently baked orange glazed cake!
That bird is thinking “how nice it is to be alone sometimes”…
and I facebooked! :o)
I think that the bird is up there looking down at us in utter disbelief of all the running around we do.
We’re always in a hurry, trying to accomplish the endless list of chores and errands on top of raising our children and holding a job. The bird is amazed at “what an average day for a human is”.
Love the necklace, especially the aqua stones.
What a great necklace – and I love all your inspired photography! It makes me want to get back on the horse and start at it again. I think that bird is just sitting. Watching. Watching the stories unfold below him and making up his own stories to fill in the blanks.
He’s imagining a much warmer place with no snow!
he or she is probably thinking of where the best sunny spot would be to warm it’s feathers on these cold winter days.
LOVE the blue stones on this fabulous new creation! Would LOVE to win it and your postcards too. they are great! Just re-tweeted you. Heading over to FB to tell my friends about you!
What is the bird thinking…? Today he is thinking about staying warm, looking toward the sun, and loving his freedom!
The little birdie….if it was around my neck…would be thinking….
“brrrrrr…these below zero MN temperatures are frightful! I wish someone in a warmer climate would have won.”
Too bad Little Birdie….this gal in MN is feeling lucky!
Lovely piece! This little birdie is taking a step back and taking it all in – taking time to reflect is something that I need to be reminded to do!
Probably thinking that “birds of a feather flocking together” sounds like a good way to stay warm these days.
I think he is thinking about spring and that it is way to cold right now!
Love the necklace!
That little birdie is probably looking down and saying, “What in the world is going on down there?”
He represents my father who passed away on Christmas eve after a very long battle with cancer. That night a bird was nesting on my wreath on my door and flew in our house and sat on the top of the Christmas tree like it was watching over us. I think he’s happy and enjoying the view from up there.
That necklace is gorgeous! I think the little birdie is thinking about how she’s going to spend the rest of her day. Maybe reading a good book or doing a little shopping? 🙂 Thanks, Lisa!
He’s just looking down at us running around like crazy and thiking we should all just slow down!
I retweeted!
I think the little sweet birdie is thinking about his friends in the flock
LOVE IT!!!! I think that the birdie is thinking…when will it be spring. Yes – I live in Canada, so I can’t wait for spring.
It’s wondering if anyone would see if he left a little present on the car in the driveway.
From his perch he would be thinking about the splendor of God’s world, vast and beautiful!
Wow what a gorgeous necklace, so cute!
I am hoping that the birdie is thinking for me and will answer my question………..Shall I move to Marseille, France or stay here in the UK?
I think the little bird is gazing at a beautiful girl bird along the wire and wondering what song he can sing to win her affection
Man, I can’t even tell you how much I love your beautiful jewelry. I have been dropping hints for a long time for my husband to buy me one but I think I’m just going to have to order one myself or win one! I think the little birdie is thinking about how good the air feels blowing through his little feathers.
I think he’s thinking about spring. 🙂
I love this necklace! I love to look at your pictures as much as I love to see your jewelry. I invested in a nice camera last year after taking a photography class. My favorite subject is my kids. I get inspiration from you! I love you new design and what it represents. I am reminding myself and my kids to look around and enjoy the moment, don’t look for what is coming next.
I think he’s thinking about how crazy those people look on the ground who are always rushing around!
Love the necklace and the postcards look sweet too. I think the birdie is feeling gratitude for his perch.
He is looking out beyond the foamy waves at the great expanse beyond … wondering what it would be like to take off and fly away into the unknown.
He’s thinking he sure is glad he’s up there and not down here. What a view and to feel the wind in his feathers, so free! I LOVE turquoise.
I shared ya on FB!
I think he’s just taking a deep breath…
the birdie is thinking about whether the wire makes her bum look big :o) Happy New Year!!
He’s thinking about his next meal…
He’s thinking how grateful he is. That the world is his, he can go anywhere….
he is thinking how lucky he is to be free to fly away at a moments notice. soar above the clouds and take in all the wonder below.
The birdie is thinking about God’s faithfulness and knows that he is not forgotten before God (Luke 12:6).
And you’re all linked up!
And I facebooked ya!
I tweeted!
This is just lovely! I think the bird is quite Charming! And he’s thinking….I like this woman who is wearing me…she’s quite charming too!” Than would be me!
I think he’s thinking about how complicated humans make things, needlessly.
he’s probably thinking, “what the heck are all those crazy people doing down there???” 🙂
He is thinking about where that girl birdie went off to!
Posted your link on Facebook as well
I tweeted…which is very appropriate for this birdie giveaway.
I’m pretty sure he’s thinking he should be resting above the heart of our lovely youngest who just LOVES birds!
little birdie is day dreaming of happiness, ideas and getting some inspiration, absorbing the world!
That’s what I would be thinking about if I were him!
hmm, why he’s all alone? and where dinner is?!
This bird represents me. Represents my “waiting” period. I’m waiting on God to give me peace and the final, “GO!” Years ago he placed Missions in Thailand on my heart. However, due to circumstances at home I am called to be obedient and take care of my parents to the best of my abilities. So, I wait… wait for the time when I am able to spread my wings and fly. To be able to not only see, but FEEL God’s heart for his people. For my own heart to love and continue to grow for God’s people. So… just as the bird has thought to wait, I will wait. For we know that God’s timing is perfect. =)
The little birdie just have no idea why i think it is so hard and impossible to move to usa from Czech republic and find a job there to. He can just fly there. Oh how happy he is. But maybe he is right, i need to focus on that it is doable and pray for it, cause i know it is Gods way for me to live and work in USA. And he will sure provide.
hmmm… he looks like he’s wondering where all his friends went! 🙂
that little birdie is thinking…..”enjoy life. each moment is a g i f t .
{ps. fly me over to that sweet girl (that’s me)….i want to live around her neck}.” xo
the little birdie is definitely thinking how crazy we all must be running around at such a fast pace every day. the birdie should tell us to relax and enjoying the moments we are in.
Lovely colors and design – LOVE it! <3 The the little bird is thinking that she’s so over winter! Oh, and she is ever so thankful the feeders are always full of yummy seeds!
I think this little birdie is thinking about his love…..don’t crows mate for life? 🙂 Love the new necklace- just beautiful!
…it also posted to my facebook page.
I tweeted and…
My word this year is not an action word, but has something to do with the birdie. Actually, I chose “Sparrow” because a sparrow reminds me that God is always watching over me…I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free…His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me. A simple reminder that He sees all, knows all, cares about all and is IN all. So your birdie is singing.
He is thinking that about what his WORD for 2010 should be 🙂
I think he is wondering why we are all so crazy busy and thinking that he is the wise one! Gorgeous new necklace!
Ok, I tweeted, retweeted and facebooked about it! 😉
I think that little birdie is sitting up counting my kids just the same way my kids ride in the car trying to count all the birdies. I love this necklace- thanks for the chance to win!
Eeeee! I imagine he is thinking about how adorable he is on that necklace!! 🙂
I think the bird is daydreaming about “do-nothing” days, like I do!
I think the bird is thinking about what new area he should explore next. There are just so many options when you can soar through the skies!
I think the birdie is thinking about how big the world looks from his peaceful little spot high above the noise and commotion.
Oh my! This necklace screams Lisa Leonard! Every time I see a bird on a wire, I think of you and your photos!! And the xo….always in your emails. So lovely!
I think the bird is meditating….so hopefully he’s thinking of nothing. 😉
That little birdie on the wire is thinking…
All is well! After all, His eye is on the sparrow and I know he watches me!
He’s wondering when it’s going to turn into spring!
LOVE the necklace!!
I think she’s dreaming up her next song… composing in her little head until she can’t keep it in anymore and just has to start singing!
Maybe he is thinking, “That car beneath me is much too clean……”
What a pretty necklace! Everything you make is so wonderful and original.
he is thinking about where he should fly to next!
That birdie is wondering which bird bath he should head to for his daily bath 🙂
I think he is wondering how long it would take to fly to Hawaii where it is warm.
just another thought….(as i already commented…this was an after thought)
i think you need to make a “charm” bracelet of all your “bird” charms! i love them all! birds are very sentimental to me…..you make it hard to choose between your necklaces….they speak to me, each one of them with birds! thanks for you work!
He is thinking; “What A Wonderful World….” just like Louis Armstrong sang. I can’t get that song out of my head. And this necklace is just beautiful!
The bird is thinking how nice it is to take the time to just sit back and enjoy- and probably how crazy we look, moving around in such a hurry
lisa….love this give-away! who wouldn’t? this bird is speaking to me.
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is life not more important than food and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life.
Matthew 6:25-27 New International Version
Beautiful piece!! I think the birdie is just taking a break from its busy day and enjoying a moment of rest, a moment of quiet, a moment to take in the great view it has of our beautiful planet!
Oh, the birdie is probably thinking about spring. Or maybe I’m thinking so much of spring, I’m projecting my thoughts onto the bird. Great necklace! One of my favorites of yours so far.
if it’s anything like me, it’s thinking “ooh, shiny!” 🙂
And I just retweeted on twitter!
I think it is wondering how much snow we’re going to be getting here in the Midwest!
OK, I sent folks over from my facebook page. (love the bird, what can I say?)
So beautiful. Congratulations on another beautiful design.
That little birdie (assuming it’s me) is taking in the quiet. 🙂
And wondering why oh why those below rush around so.
“Be still, and know that I am God…”
I think the bird is thinking that if it snows it should be easier to see the birdseed that we will put out for him – Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful necklace!
Gorgeous piece. Thank you for being so generous with your giveaways. I don’t twitter or use Facebook but I would like to comment.
That bird is contemplating the new year and all it might hold.

I imagine he’s thinking, “What’s the big deal about tweets all of a sudden? Do it all the time.”
I’m don’t know what he is thinking but he is definitely not thinking about school, work, or stress. Probably contemplating how amazing it is to just sit in God’s presence.
He’s not thinking about anything. Just relaxing. December was much too crazy and he’s just taking in the quiet!
I think the bird is thinking….”WHY is it so cold????”
Gorgeous necklace! I think that little birdie is thinking about building up his courage to fly again.
This is so cute! I love the color pop with the aqua. The bird is looking back, but facing forward. Ready to take on a new day with memories of old!
To me, birds represent peace, so I think this necklace is a symbol of peace. What a great gift for this new 2010. Thank you for this giveaway! I want one of your necklaces SO bad! Fingers crossed! Happy New Year!!
The bird is singing a song, praising its Creator.
The necklace is so delicate and sweet. I didn’t read anyone else’s thoughts but my first impression is that the advantage the little bird has high up there on the wire is that he can see past the circumstances around him to what is ahead. And it helps him to press towards the mark. ♥
That little birdie….he’s thinking, “it’s too cold out…I better find somewhere warm to hang out.” BRRRR!!
I imagine that the birdie is taking in the view and enjoying the peace and quiet way up there. I love your site- own 2 pieces, look forward to owning more. 🙂

Hmm…I would have to say the birdie is taking time to be thankful.
I think he’s wondering why we humans bustle and worry like we do. He thinks we should just trust in the Lord like he does..

(here in CO it’s -16 degrees!!!)

I believe the birdie is thinking how she belongs on a girl named after her… 🙂 Just adorable!
She is thinking how beautiful she looks on that necklace. 🙂
The birds are a reminder to me of Matthew 6:26 – Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds.
the approaching air balloon!
I think he’s wondering why he flew south … it’s cold here too!
Sweet necklace — a little departure from what you typically do, and I give it a big thumbs up … way up!
I think he’s looking for a target. A car parked underneath the wire with its sunroof open, perhaps. 🙂

shana
The little birdie is just resting his wings, waiting for his birdie love to come along.
He’s thinking as he sings to himself….” oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day”
As a child, one of my favorite books was called “Are You My Mother?” by P. D. Eastman. It’s about a baby bird who hatches while his mother is off in search of food for him. Not knowing who his mother is, he goes in search of her. I imagine your little bird will find what he’s searching for very soon. Beautiful necklace!!
I think he’s thinking of home. And how much further he has to fly to get there.
I tweeted and linked back as well as ‘mylifeblessed’

If that little birdie were here, he would be thinking of a warm place to fly to get away from the snow and bitterly cold temperatures!
And I tweeted in birdie’s honor as well.
That little birdie is soaking it all in! Love the necklace!
Little birdie is thinking about returning home to her nest, the leaves rustling in the wind as the sun shines through here and there… Oh, to live in a tree!
He’s enjoying the view…
What a lovely design!
Love the giveaway! What a beautiful necklace! My husband gave me the “loved” necklace for our anniversary, and I adore it:)

I think he is wondering if the snow is ever going to stop here in Iowa! We have 28 inches on the ground and it is still coming down!
“the birdie is thinking that she wants to have 3eggs, so she can have 3 babies just like my mommy. I think she will be a good mommy, just like you!” this is what my five year old thinks the birdie is thinking :0) gosh isn’t the little things in life.. Btw I do adore my 3 little baby birdies!
I imagine he is looking around wondering where all of his friends flew off to! 🙂
I tweeted, Lisa! {also mentioned you so you can find it.} @thesweetpetunia
how stinkin cute!! Love this!
That little birdie is thinking about her sweetheart, and loving every minute of the 3 years she’s spent with him. Because, you see, today is their 3 year “anniversary”. And every day, the 2 little birds learn more and more about loving each other…and their lives look pretty wonderful from up there.
that bird is thinking that brianne needs that necklace!! i am so love with birds these days and it is as if you read my mind. this one is amazing!!!
I tweeted this 🙂
“It will never cease to amaze me that I am not electrocuted every time I plop down up here.”
I think the birdie is considering singing in harmony with her friends. Harmony is something that all of us need, I think, in many ways. When we are all singing together, we make beautiful music.
It’s thinking it’s ready for spring!
and my retweet will appear on fb.
shared it on facebook too!

Oh, how beautiful is that necklace! And what a fabulous giveaway — I’d love to win, thanks for the opportunity!
This is beautiful! Such a creative design. I might need this to remind me day to day that things look so different when you take a step back (or above) a situation.
If I were that bird, I’d just be observing, not really lost in deep thought about anything. I’m sure from up there, things are much simpler.
I tweeted the giveaway here:

i think he is thinking about how nice and quiet it is up there!
i love this new design – so beautiful and such a simple yet meaningful message behind it.
i think the bird is not thinking much of anything, just enjoying the breeze, taking in the view, being a bird in the moment.
I think the bird is thinking that he is lonely and he needs to find his flock….
I think the birdie is thinking “should I stay or should I go now?”…life is all about the journey & deciding which path to take next.
I imagine the birdie is enjoying a peaceful moment alone
I imagine that he or she is thinking about just how small we all are in the universe and how lucky we are to be a part of it.
I love the new necklace- so thoughtful but darling too. I think the bird is thinking about “chicks”- teehee.
Love it! She is thinking, “Now why are my little birdies so quiet right now? Should I enjoy it or be worried they are up to something?”
I love the necklace! I think the bird is just basking in the peacefulness of it all. Maybe the birdie is a mommy who just scored a rare few minutes away from her babies…
I think he is thinking “better head south”
Thinking about his love bird. 🙂
“life is good” (whether you’re a bird or not)
I had to smile the other night at a meeting – I looked around at the 10 women there and four of us were wearing pieces of your making – we love Lisa Leonard in Michigan!
i think hes thinking “wow, those people down there are all nuts, why dont they slow down”
Maybe he’s thinking, “I love just sitting here and taking it all in.”
I think he’s looking at his feathered friends and thinking, “should I follow or make my own way?”
and I facebooked too 🙂

He’s thinking, “I’m so glad that Lisa Leonard gave me wings. I wish I could fly away and live permanently perched around Lisa-Jo’s neck.” 🙂
I think the birdie is thinking about whether the window in front of him is really a windor cleaned with windex or whether it’s not a window at all 🙂
I don’t think the birdie is thinking about anything except how good it feels to soak up the sunshine!
Lovely design, I think the birdie is thinking about enjoying the simple things in life. A good reminder for all of us!
Do you see what I see?
The little birdies are surely thinking about springtime!
He’s loving the peace and quiet. And wondering where he should fly next!
He’s wondering if his baby is ever going to sleep tonight so he can have some computer time 🙂
Oh that little birdie is soooooo thinking how pretty ALL this snow we have in my neck of the woods looks from way up high.

The birdie is wondering when spring will be arriving up north so she can fly back and make people delighted to see her again.
I think the birdie is looking down and wondering how well I am embracing my word of the year for 2010!
Oh that is just precious! 🙂 Love it! I would imagine the little bird is thinking about a past flight…
I think that little birdie is thinking about Spring! I love love love this new design!
Sweet birdie! Probably thinking about spring. 🙂
The birdie is thinking……what will come my way next?

OMG!! That necklace is beautiful!!! I love it.. of course i have yet to see one of your beautiful creations that i don’t like..:) He is thinking of what wonderful place he should visit next… being able to go anywhere really has it’s perks! 🙂
I love this new necklace! I call my ‘oldest’ daughter ( 5 1/2 year old triplets) birdie as a nickname and so wearing this necklace would remind me that my little birdie is thinking that all she needs is me to be present…and maybe snuggle up on the couch in the “nest” we make out of down blankets (we live in Michigan!!) Thank you for the opportunity! Anna
With my first child’s high school graduation coming up in the spring, I am melancholy about my children leaving the nest. I imagine this mommy bird thinking and dreaming of all her baby birdies and what their future holds!
Tweeting this giveaway!
and I just posted to facebook!
I say he has a song in his heart that he’s happy to sing up there!
Love this necklace!!
Sharing this on Face Book !
That little bird is thinking about how loved he is by His creator…. (Matt 6:26)
I bet that little birdie is waiting for his friends. 🙂 I hardly ever see birds perching alone!
Thanks for the giveaway! I think the birdie is just taking in the amazing sunset.
Every time I see a bird on a wire, I think of that Pixar short. All the little birds on the wire pick on the big bird, but in the end their rudeness ends up harming only themselves.
I think he’s thinking about giving his mommy a hug instead of having a tantrum. [yes, that’s been my day!]
He’s thinking, “How can I glorify God more today…? I know! I’ll sing to Him!”
I believe the birdie is thinking “another perfect day”…something we should all aspire to;)
Gorgeous. I absolutely love this! That birdie on a wire is thinking about taking off, wind running through her feathers. Only birds can have that kind of freedom!
Love it! Anywhere has to be calmer than here right now 🙂
I also just started a photography class, so the book is an awesome find.
That sweet little birdie is imagining how lovely he’d look around my neck and thinking about how much joy he’d bring me! Thanks for the opportunity!
I’m sharing this on facebook
It’s thinking about how peaceful it is above all the hustle and bustle below.
I think the little birdie is saying “pick this lady, pick this lady-she’ll take good care of me”! I love your designs- and this one especially *cute*!
I imagine the birdie is thinking about where to find the best nest making materials.
I imagine that birdie is thinking about how breathtakingly gorgeous God’s creation is all around him/her! (atleast that’s what I would be thinking if I had the freedom to roam around high above the earth all day). thanks for this giveaway, Lisa – your blog is such an encouragement 🙂
I think he’s thinking about heading south for the winter. It’s cold up here!
