Hello new week. Good-bye to a rough weekend. We were out of sorts and honestly, the weekend was really hard.
New beginnings are a good thing, don’t you think?
We love La Familia pumpkin patch and we’ visited there in 2012, 2011 and 2010. How about some hellos?
Hello pumpkins of every shape and size. I love all the color and texture.
Hello sunshine and warm temps. It’s been around 85* the last few days. A bit warm for my taste!
Hello big kid. Matthias has this pumpkin-picking thing all figured out.
Hello soup and cooler evenings. Even though the days are warm, the nights get chilly. Perfect for making our favorite soup.
Hello flip flops even though I’m ready to be wearing boots and tights.
Hello green pumpkin. I thought this pumpkin was funky and fun.
Hello handsome. I love that kid.
Hello sweet family. I’m so thankful for our very imperfect family of four. I’m glad we’re in this together.
Hello grocery shopping and list checking. I’m ready to get things done today.
Hello warm fall days.
Hello long to do lists when I’d rather cuddle on the couch and relax.
Hello quick visit from my parents–so glad we got a little time with them!
Hello Monday. It’s a fresh start and a second chance.
What are you saying hello to this week? Leave some hellos for us in the comments or link up your own hello monday post there!
We just went to the LaFamilia pumpkin patch for the first time this weekend! Fresh smoothies, hay rides, bounce houses and pumpkins! We love Avilla valley barn but I think this will be a new tradition for our family. Now if it will only fool down a bit more here…

Hi Lisa!!
I just wanted to tell you that I finally decided to splurge on a piece of your jewelry. It is my birthday today and I thought it was way past time that I start treating myself a little bit. So thank you for creating such beautiful work. I love your blog and am so happy to have some new jewelry to wear soon! Have a fantastic week! xoxo – your friend in CO.
I hope you love what you ordered Amy! Happy birthday to you. xoxo
Hello Fall, as we are definitely into it with cool temperatures and rainy days… I don’t really mind as I love Fall and adore Winter which is just next. We do not have pumpkin patch and I so love the one you visited… I love pumpkin soup with chestnut with or without crispy bacon… I am not decided yet how I will “setup” the house for Fall… I am sure when the time will be right, I will know.
Hi, I had some special hellos today that involve joy while at the same time prayer. Such wonderful pictures of your pumpkin patch visit. I really enjoyed them.

Hello to rain clouds all around that stayed away long enough for a bike ride after work.
Hello to my husband’s 40th (yikes) reunion this weekend… which means…seeing some old familiar faces this Saturday.
we are hitting up our local patch and corn maze this sunday for a dose of fall since it is still in the 80’s and 90’s here! i can’t believe it’s that time already!

Crazy! we’re having a heat wave too. And I’m still making soup for dinner and wearing boots. xo
I always love your Hellos and your authenticity. last week and the weekend were go go go, so today I’m glad to be saying “hello” to catching up!
Thank you Denise. xoxo
Hello to imperfection – right there with you! Sometimes I can’t wait for Monday…
Hello, great memories of our weekend spent at the beach. Hello, rain. Hello, bright yellow tights to add some cheer. Hello, soccer practices, auditions, and the hubster going out of town. Hello to figuring out a way to sneak myself into all of it somewhere, somehow!
I love that flip flops picture! Here’s my share:

Thanks so much for your honesty about your rough weekend. It would be easier to pretend that everything is OK all the time, but your honesty is encouraging for the rest of us – we all have off days, weekends, and even weeks! God’s blessings to you as you start anew this week.
Thanks Tracy. I sat at my computer trying to figure out what to say. I appreciate you’re encouragement! xo

I’ve certainly had those weekends before. Weird moods, unmet expectations, funky dynamics. Those are the ones that make me really happy for Monday. Hope today is a breather for you. 🙂
