Earlier this week we headed down to Morro Bay with our friends Jen, Max and Gracie to walk {or scooter} on the boardwalk and get ice cream. If you’ve hung out in Morro Bay, you know it’s often foggy and overcast–but it was such a gorgeous day filled with sunshine. I let my soul soak it all up.
The boardwalk is at the very end of the Embarcadero. It’s a nice pathway that will take you all the way down to Morro Rock. We saw otters playing and the kids had a blast.
This is what makes summer so wonderful! This weekend we have a graduation party and we might try to see Brave. What are your weekend plans?
I just came across your blog & business–love your designs and I’ve enjoyed reading a bit of your blog. You seem like such a neat person with a wonderful family. Have a great weekend!
Oh my goodness, sooooo jealous!
SLEEP IN!…haha really I am happy I get to sleep in and move slowly…no big plans. It’s supposed to be rainy…so I’ll be watching White Collar Season 3…catching up before the new season starts. 🙂
Thank you for input /blog regarding Morro Bay,Calif. This is my first blogs, so bare with me. my thoughts of Morro Bay are great , but maybe a little different than your other folks I’ll try to make this short, if possible. In childhood ,my dad and I fished off Morro Bay dock, often catching red snapper fish., 1969-71 attended Cuesta College, travelling from Paso Robles to Cuesta 4 nights a week & always stopping off to watch the sunset near the “Rock”In 1971. I met my,now ex husband over a Labor Day weekend (all great memories!!!) I’ve lived in many places since my experiences in Morro Bay- Denver Colo,/ Kansas City,MO & now Greenville, SC….Morrow Bay, Calif remains to be one of my favorite places….The only thing I don’t miss is the COLD ..ocean water Thanks Diana Guynn
That is so fun, Diana! My husband and I vacationed with his family there before we were married and ended up moving here a few years later. Funny how life works!
Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing them with us!
My youngest child is graduating from high school tomorrow evening. The time has flown by. My in-laws are coming up for a late lunch and pictures prior to graduation. On Sunday we will head to a stephens ministry meeting, church and then to a party! Have a beautiful weekend!

What fun! I love Morro Bay. I used to live in San Luis Obispo, so we were really close to there. I love the embarcadero.
