Happy New Year!
I love a new beginning, don’t you? It’s the perfect time to reflect on how things are, and what I want to change.
We’re teaming up with Ali Edwards and her one little word project! Our custom word of the year necklace and bracelet are the perfect way to keep your word in front of you all year.
This year my word is ‘hello’. I want to greet each day and each circumstance with an open mind. I want to welcome the unexpected and find beauty in the every day. I want to say hello to the good and the difficult.
Join us! What’s your word for 2014?
My word is Just Breathe. Actually I guess it is two. We take breathing for granted. This year I am praying for a Cure for Cystic Fibrosis so that we all can just breathe the same.
grace.
pure grace.
I’m so glad people are catching on to this! I’ve been doing it for a couple years now and it feels great when I am able to look back at my year and really see how it’s changed my life <3 2012 was "genuine," 2013 was "gratitude," and this year is "grace." (I don't know what is with all the g's!) I love hearing everyone's words 🙂 PS Lisa your pieces are amazing <3
Hi Lisa honey, my word for 2014 is ”SERENITY”! Last year was not a happy year in one way or another. This is going to be a good year.. after all, it’s not what’s thrown at me that counts, it’s how I react to it! My Art Studio is called ”serenity” too and I can see myself spending a lot of time there this year. Big hugs and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Happy New Year Lisa! My word for 2014 is “love”. Love for myself, my family, my friends. Love through my faith, my challenges, my disappointments, my successes, my failures, my words, my actions, my thoughts. “Love” <3
My word is Less–less of me, more of Jesus!
I was having such a hard time trying to figure out the word God was describing to me in my heart, but He wouldn’t just tell me straight up. Finally, it hit me: “today.” As in, living only in today, relying on His strength only for today, living abundantly in TODAY and not worrying about what may come tomorrow. xoxoxo
“embrace.” As in, “own it!” All of it. The good, the bad, the ugly. A friend pointed out to me recently that we don’t have mid-life crises so much as mid-life understandings, and I love that. I want to embrace the things I am coming to understand about myself and about life instead of fighting against them. I want to embrace the dreams I had for my life when I was younger. whew! Thanks for the mini-therapy session!!! xo
Hi Lisa,
My word for the wonderful 2014 a head, is…”FORGIVENESS”!!!
With this word, alone, I can get through my days…peacefully!
A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR “BLESSED FAMILY”!!!
My word is Do. Do you have a necklace for that word? Do you make custom orders?
My word for the year is focus.
I also chose HELLO because I know I’m going to face lots of new challenges and opportunities this year, and I welcome them all! I’m anxiously awaiting the bracelet, it’s my first order from you, though I’ve been longing for almost everything you make for quite a while! Have a beautiful day!
My word for 2014 is “acceptance”. LOVE the bracelet SO much!!
Lisa,
I admire you from afar. 🙂 Your blog is one I’ve read for as long as I can remember. You have a strength, beauty, and honesty that makes me want to stick around. 🙂 I love your word too! Mine is “light”, for a second year in a row.
