sunday {love}

david and i are both fighting a cold and feeling a little crummy and extra snuggly.

steve and matthias are off to church.

and it’s a rainy day {again}. it’s nice to stay in.

i want us all to get well before christmas-so i don’t mind fighting a cold now.

i wish colds weren’t a part of our holiday tradition, but i think they are. oh well!

happy sunday to you!

  1. I’m with you on wishing colds weren’t a “holiday tradiotion” but it never fails that at least someone is sick this time of year. We’ve been hibernating all week with 2 sick kids and the rain. In some ways it’s a good reminder to slow down and enjoy one another. Sending get well wishes your way so you can enjoy a merry (healthy) Christmas!

  2. Extra snuggles help make up for the ickiness of sniffles!

    I was up in your neck of the woods this week visiting my sister in Atascedero. We had a great time taking the kids to the zoo for my son’s 2nd birthday. But we had to cut the visit short when my baby got sick. I was hoping to puruse Ruby Rose in SLO on Saturday…next trip!

  3. Lisa,

    Feel better! Thank you for working so hard and getting out my two gifts. Many blessings for a Merry Christmas!

  4. What a yummy picture! Those are my fave cookies from Trader Joe’s! Me and my two little ones are just now feeling healthy again. I think it’s becoming a part of our Christmas tradition! Feel better!

  5. I swear it seems as though getting sick is just part of the holidays. I can’t remember a year when some bug hasn’t hit during the holiday season….
    Take care and hope your both feeling better soon!

  6. ugh….I totally echo the praying for wellness prior to Christmas!!! We’ve got two sick boys home. Drew, our 2 mos. old has RSV. My hubby’s a pastor, so I”m hoping for wellness soon so that I won’t spend all of xmas eve alone at home :(. Praying for you too (two!).

  7. Hope you both feel better quick! We’re fighting the same thing in our house!
    Ps- We love the mini gingerbread cookies from TJ’s too 🙂
