I found this crocheted cardigan at Anthropologie last year on sale. I haven’t worn it much–but it’s so pretty. It’s a statement piece. To keep it from being too sweet I paired it with casual jeans and slip on easy clogs.
The swept away necklace is a simple piece but has impact. I have a stone set for each of my loves.
These jeans are super comfortable. They have a high waist that I love.
Did you know Stitch Fix is carrying shoes now? I love these clogs! The color is neutral and the heel isn’t too high.
I found this bag at a resale shop downtown. It’s pretty much perfect and it was a steal {my favorite!}
Outfit details: Cardigan, Anthropologie, similar here. Jeans, Levis. Tank, Old Navy. Clogs, Stitch Fix. Bag, Local resale shop. Warm Embrace Necklace, My shop. Large gemstone cuff, My shop.
Off to meetings today and out on a date tonight. Yay!
Lisa,
I just came onto your website, I love it. My daughter and her husband adopted a beautiful little newborn boy and now is 6 Months old. I want a Ring with Baby Mack’s name on it for her and for myself . Her son is absolutely everything to all of us and his Mom gave birth full term we are all so happy she decided to carry him and deliver instead of choosing another option. I Love your hair also, I have started to embrace my natural hair and it is very similar to yours and highlighted/lowlights but I would love to know how you do it each day or so. I am working with mine different ways with products etc…..and I really would love to know your process. I do need mine to grow a little more but I so happy with letting my real self shine through. I also plan to get my daughter the two necklace charms for her two dogs, Bear and Hank. I want to say THANK YOU, this is so good that you have this little daily journal, it is inspiring to say the least. I would love to hear back from you.

Hi Lisa,
I just wanted you to know that in less than 24 hours I have read almost every one of your blog posts about David and your wonderful family and it has given me SUCH strength.
Thank you. Thank you for posting about David. Thank you for sharing the fear, the worry, the love. Thank you for making me feel not so alone.
My son Emerson has a rare neurological disorder called bilateral perisylvian polymicrogyria. He was diagnosed early March of this year after having a rare type of seizure called infantile spasms. It has been hospital visit after hospital visit with pneumonia, aspiration, EEGs… And we have no clear answers on what the future will look like.
Being a type A planner, this has left me with anxiety and this weekend it has been especially high because of some seizure like activity returning due to a medicine wean.
I found your blog in the middle of the night as I watched my sweet boy sleeping. I have literally screen shot some of your posts because your words remind me to be strong for him.
So thank you. From one special needs mom to another. It’s a lonely job at times but when you find someone who can put it into words, it’s so very comforting.
I can’t wait for my Emerson ring to arrive- like you, putting jewelry on in the morning gives me a sense of strength and comfort.
Your family is so beautiful and so are you- inside and out!
Jeanne, sending you a big hug. This journey is hard but also beautiful. Please hug Emerson for me know that you are not alone. xoxo
So pretty…and can’t believe anyone would re-sell that bag… gorgeous, and the better the more worn it gets. Love the necklace too.
Fun! I love the entire outfit!
You always look beautiful!!
