Hi friends! It’s Wednesday and I’m linking up with Lindsey for some fashion inspiration. This week’s outfit was kind of fun, kind of random and mostly fell under of the category of ‘I like it, so I’m wearing it!’.
For a week I stayed in jammies and didn’t venture far from the couch–so I guess I felt like wearing something happy!
My eyes are almost back to normal. So grateful.
Did you know happiness is contagious. It’s even more contagious than pinkeye!
Leopard print jeans, Target. Black top, local boutique. Denim jacket, Old Navy. Turquoise wedges, Target. Floral scarf, Target. Happiness is contagious bracelet, my shop.
In my opinion, this scarf goes with everything. Since I paired it with leopard jeans, you might disagree. But the floral is subtle–I love the colors. When I spotted it at Target, I snatched it up!
Tomorrow we are laying low with friends. All we’re bringing for the Thanksgiving meal is dessert. So easy! What are your Thanksgiving plans? I hope it’s a relaxing, reflective day. Enjoy!
This isn’t about your outfit- although you do look adorable. It is about your wonderful customer service. I just wanted to let you know what an outstanding employee you have in Sara in Customer Service. I had placed an order during the Hurricane Sandy special and had been waiting for my order to arrive. When I looked at my account on your website, I found that the order I thought I had placed on Nov. 11 was not there. I called and spoke with Sara. She verified that they did not have a record of my order on the 11th. She answered all of my questions as I placed a new order, attached it to an order I had placed last week and said she would try to find a Sandy heart and house necklace to send my way! You have a great team and wonderful jewelry. It is a pleasure to do business with you and recommend your company to all of my friends.
That makes me so happy!! xoxo
We bought already cooked turkey breast and gravy to go along with it from a local “deli”; and immediately started eating it…had to go back and get more for tomorrow. We’ll make all the sides…but when it comes to the turkey…theirs is always waaaaay better than mine! Enjoy your dinner with friends.
Sounds delicious Anne! Happy Thanksgiving!
Oh my goodness, I love it!!! Would it be weird if I went out and bought this entire same outfit and called it my Lisa look?
haha! you’re so sweet. feel free! xo
My 10-year-old has those pants! She’s way more stylish than I am! I love your style, and thanks also for the scarf tutorial, because I never know what the heck I’m doing!
You are so sweet. You’re welcome!
I have those shoes in grey and maroon! Love them!
And I am thinking for Christmas that I want about 5 scarves from Target. Have you seen the one that’s kind of chartreuse with dark grey feathers on it??
I am hosting T-Day and vacuuming today, along with making the stuffing and the pumpkin cake. The rest will happen tomorrow, but mostly my MANY guest are bringing things. Phew. Maybe they’ll bring some hostess gifts ;)? Have a great time, Lisa!
I have not seen that one but it sounds beautiful! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving Kelli. 🙂
I LOVE that scarf with the leopard print jeans, and I have to say that the pink eye epidemic extends all the way to Austin, TX, where we have had to cancel our big fancy plans to stay home with our pink-eyed 2 year old (and pray our 3 month old doesn’t catch it). We are making turkey burgers and roasting marshmallows and calling it a day!
Sometimes lazy holidays are so nice, no stress and you get to spend great quality time with the family. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! xx
That scarf is perfect. Such a happy color and does go with everything.
Thank you!
I love those pants on you! Do you find that a lot of Target’s pants, especially if they are near the JR section are way too low rise? When I tried on colored denim, they fit all wonky
They are a little bit ‘low rise’, but I feel like the style is moving towards higher waisted again. So excited!
Hmmm, I don’t know: pink eye is awfully contagious!
I had it lots & lots as a kid, so I can imagine how awful you felt. Glad you’re better. Enjoy that pie!
I love this outfit. It is comfy and doesn’t look like you are trying too hard, yet SO stylish!
We are heading to my mom’s (she lives about 40 min away.) She is hosting my brothers and my family. I will only have 1 of my daughters there but, life is good and God is great! Oh and I am bringing green bean casserole and snicker salad…yet the eating begin! LOL
That sounds delicious! I can’t wait for tomorrow. 🙂
you are brave. this is cute on you.
you are pretty- pink eye or not. hope you are feeling better.
happy thanksgiving, lisa and family!
Thank you Denise!
Love those wedges! I have Target envy and can’t wait until Target comes to Canada in 2013!!
You will become addicted! I love it.
I bought those same shoes in gray and they don’t stay on my feet! And I’m bummed because I think they look so cute with skinny jeans. Am I doing something wrong?! I’m generally a pretty proficient walker (ha) but it is like, I lift up my foot and the shoe stays on the floor. I don’t think I could have sized down, but now it is too late anyway because I threw out the box. so is it just me?? I love that blue with the outfit though! very cute.
Hi Laura
These wedges work fine for me, but every now and then I get a pair of shoes that slip off my heels–so I use these inserts. Works like magic! xo

I just ordered some, thanks!! maybe now I can wear my shoes (like a grown up, and not like my 3yr old trying them on :))
You’re welcome!! Take care.
Its official-I love that scarf! 🙂
