Hey friends! It’s Wednesday and I’m linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for some fashion inspiration.
Remember these thrift finds? I couldn’t believe it when I found another dress the next week. Whohoo!
Although, I have to tell you. We left the house, stopped at Starbucks, and Matthias let me know that the dress is too short. Oh and that it needed a belt. By that point, it was too late to turn back. Ha!
Dress, thrifted. Boots, Fossil {last year}. Let your light shine bracelet. Happiness is Contagious bracelet.
I hope your Wednesday is productive and relaxing!
So cute! My teenage daughter is always telling me “NO Mom!” I think it looks great. You always look great. That bird dress you had a few weeks ago. Now hangs on my closet. π
Oh Lisa…that is so funny, before I read what Matthias said I thought “gosh that dress is a little short for Lisa” You look adorable, you just normally wear things that are a bit longer π Me and Matthias are on the same page. I think a belt and some leggings would be adorable with that dress!
haha! i love it! xx
Love the entire outfit….especially giggling at Mathais comment….my five year old has brought it upon herself to let me know how good or not so good I looked in something lol. She mostly thinks if I walk out in a Spiderman costume I would ROCK :). Have a blessed day…thanks for the posts.
Matthias is right. I am scandalized by the length of your dress. Your brother and hem-length watchman, Dan
Looks comfy and flirty. Love it!
Hope your day’s been productive, too! You have lots to do before your trip abroad, I imagine!
My car had trouble today, so the whole schedule got jumbled up to make room for a visit to the car doc. No like!
So cute, what a find! Adorable that your son is giving you fashion advice! π Great dress, wow you can wear it so many different ways. I’m ordering your “let your light shine” bracelet for myself, I love it! I feel like you made it just for me. A sweet little reminder to myself, and also for me to help everyone else let their lights shine, too. π
Just a belt, keep it short! Looks great.
The dress looks totally cute especially with the boots.
As Tim Gunn would say “make it work” and you did!!
rock that “short” dress! so cute and what a great find.
That dress is a killer find! Great outfit!
My daughter (about the same age as your son) would say something similar to me. Such a cute age, huh?
I think it would look cute with a belt and leggings or skinny jeans under it too. But honestly, I don’t think it’s too short (sorry Matthias); you’ve got good knees, so you can do that length. Sorry if that got too specific. π
Score! I really like it, I would wear tights or leggings with it and it solves the ‘too short’ for your son! ha.
Another cute dress! You have the best thrift store finds. Yes to figs! I had a Farmer and the Cook pizza with figs, walnuts, blue cheese this weekend, yum.
Just to add a bit to your dialog with your son……it would be cute that way and then worn as a top over skinny jeans! Great thrift store find….fun to know that you can wear it several different ways:)
You look great! even without a belt the dress is super cute π
Super Cute!
cute cute cute!! can i ask the brand of the dress (even tho it’s thrifted)? i loooove it!
Ha! Matthias is your style buddy. Love it! Great dress. I think it would look great with a belt too.
What a great find! It is very cute and flattering. A belt would also look cute but would probably make it even shorter π although I think the length is just fine. Love it with those boots too!
So cute! And don’t you love the opinions of creative children? My son tells me things like that all the time.
Love it! Very cute π
