Your story connected with me. I, too, am a teacher and we are adopting a little girl with Down syndrome from an Eastern Europe country. I’ve been toying with quitting the regular classroom, but teaching an online classroom from home, along with spending more time writing for magazines. Food for thought…

It is always interesting to know the “back story” behind people. Thanks for sharing! BTW, I too am a special ed teacher but am on leave until next Fall to spend time with my daughter. We meet some amazing kiddos, don’t we?
