oh it’s been a crazy week around here.
david’s white blood cell count was high
which meant they might postpone surgery
which made mama (me) feel like i was constantly on the verge of tears
because i’m a planner
and i just want to get this dang surgery over with
and move on.
but yesterday we got the ‘all-clear’ for surgery
phew.
and i sighed a BIG sigh of relief.

and while i am still anxious about the surgery,
i am thankful we’re moving forward.
and it seems like a good day to celebrate with sweet little earrings.

This is totally off subject but I really love your hair cut! I was wondering if sometime you might put up some pictures showing it close up with the back and sides. My daughter (8) had pretty major surgery last March so I think I know a bit of how you’re feeling…..it’s not as if you’re looking forward to the surgery, but it’s looming out there and inevitable and you just want it to be over and done with, successful, so everyone can move on.
I am praying you David, and your you all! Like you said last week, this time next month, you will all be on the other side of this! {{{{HUGS}}}}

Phew its right – I can totally understand wanting to move forward with the surgery and get it behind you – i am a planner to and I don’t like when things have to be up in the air BUT i am learning that ALL things work out when you put them in God’s hands. Am DEFINATELY keeping David and you in my prayers – well your whole family – and in addition I will say a prayer next week over his medical team, that they move in divine wisdom He will guide them and David’s angels will be right there watching over him!

Lisa, be encouraged. Our children are in God’s hands. He uses us to love, nurture, play with and care for them. He teaches us how to be everything they need, but ultimately, they are HIS and everything will be ok, because HE is here. Take care of yourself while you are caring for your family.

Happy Friday, happy green lights, and we’re going to be praying for all of you tonight at youth group.
I’m so glad it okay to go on with the surgery. My mom has had some medical issues over the past few weeks and the dr.’s have finally given her a date for her bypass surgery. She’s been hospitalized a couple times and it’s been so up and down that like you, I’m just so relieved a plan is in place.
My thoughts go out to you and your family. You are all an inspiration!
