perched up there.

what’s inspiring you today? please share!
Love the family tree keyring!
Lisa that is the best spider picture!! I learned to really like spiders (or have a healthy respect?) when I gardened. There was one that lived in my geraniums and when I would work in the garden, s/he would come out and watch me. I saw one drinking water once and that amazed me because I didn’t think they did that but there s/he was!!
Love the birds too – birds are awesome …!
Love the spider photo…even though spiders are NOT my favorite creature God made. But your pic reminds of of how this week I watched Charlotte’s Web (the live action one that came out a few years ago) with my toddler for the first time and he LOVED it. My sons shining eyes, joyfully mischevious grins, and cuddly hugs inspire me every day.
I love the birds on wire photos—I am intrigued by them myself and find myself snapping pictures or wishing I had my camera with me almost everyday!
LOVE the Urban Standard in Birmingham! Reminds me that hubs and I need to take a road trip there again soon!
Hi Lisa,
You take such beautiful pictures, I am inspired by them! Are you self taught or have you taken classes? I’ve been trying to teach myself, I don’t have a DSLR camera, but it’s still a pretty good one. I can see the pictures I want to take, but they often don’t come out the way I hoped.
The heart in that flower is amazing, a small little blessing of encouragement!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Nicole
I love when you post various items of inspiration! I too love the cupcake photo — yum!
Inspiring me right now is the love of my family….and the gift of time I get to spend with my children each day.
Gorgeous, gorgeous photos!
A room full of first graders doing the ‘Chicken Dance’ with me…love them!
YOU inspire me! I also have a special needs child with a rare syndrome and I am amazed at all you do! You are a perfect example of balance.

Hi Lisa, love all of the pics and oh that cupcake looks SO yummy! I’ve been meaning to make them for ages – with butter cream icing of course! YUMMMMMM
What is inspiring me today? I’ve been helping a friend of mine in her garden for most of the day. Lyn is my DEAREST friend and is such a honey. She is a 12 year (I think) cancer survivor and she has the most amazing heart and soul. Any time I get to spend with her is treasured forever! I love that I could help her with something I specialise in, plants and nature. It was my gift to her today. Smiles…
We are having some crazy, inspiring sunlight here today. Love the cupcake shot…and the spider. 🙂
sorry….not creative illustration workbook….”creative illustration workshop”! my spelling is awful!
your photos! they are lovely…also, yesterday i received in the mail my pre-order of katherine dunn’s new book “creative illustration workbook” and i have to say i have never been more inspired! love it love it love it!
Today, I am painting the main living area/playroom in our home. It gives me the warm fuzzies that my family’s house is becoming a home. I took my kids on a mile long walk today & found a baby caterpillar. We named him baseball. My kids love him. 🙂
YOU are inspiring me. Also today, my son’s Waldorf parent-child class we take. It always leaves me centered and calm, ready to start something wonderful (maybe bread making this afternoon… and more knitting while said toddler from class naps).
Your clothes from yesterdays post is still inspiring me. Inspiring me to pull out some of my pretty clothes and wear them more frequenlty! My daughter asked this morning….’where are you going today?’
WOW! These are all beautiful images! That heart is amazing … how fun. The birds … love. Spidies on a web – perfect! 🙂
You took my suggestion;) I love urban standard.
I just love your blog. Uplifting.
Hi Lisa
I love all the pictures. The flower one with the heart is my favorite. I love hearts also. I really love finding a heart shape rock or seaglass.

I love hearts too – my sister and I starting long ago collecting and giving each other heart shaped things for various occassions – you should see all the heart dishes i have!!

Lisa, you take such great photos! Today I am inspired by my little girls. I am working from home today and they are with me. They ‘got dressed for the day’ and …….. well, let’s just say they have their own sense of style! I think their look is a cross between a princess, a beach baby and anything else they could find. Express yourself, babies! Love it!
God and my kids!
As with every other day- my niece inspires me. She’s turning one soon, and she’s just a literal pure bundle of joy. When I see her, I can’t be in a bad mood. I was also inspired by the sun and the clouds this morning on my way to class. The sun was shining though the clouds in a very particular way that just made me feel like God was waving and saying “Hey there child!”
All of the awesome toy catalogs arriving at my door have been inspiring me this week! It’s gonna be a handmade kinda Christmas!
Lisa! I LOVE the flower picture. How awesome! Love the key chain too…I was just about to start my Christmas list. Guess I’ll need to put that on there! 😀
You! I’m making up a wish list for graduation/birthday gifts and nothing travels as well as awesome jewelery. (Both coming with family from the US and being shipped to friends ordering from Denmark.) I love that everyone will be able to personalize the gifts with a little memory that we’ve shared.
Love both the cupcake and the birds-on-wire photos!
Hm, I could USE some inspiration … I’m in the midst of moving right now and my brain feels a bit burnt out!
