Steve and I worked last weekend on hanging his guitars on our living room wall. They look so great! But that meant I had to find a new spot for my baskets. I decided to try hanging them around this arched mirror in our entryway and I LOVE the way it came together. So much light and texture.
It’s a brand new week, how about some hellos?
Hello big impact. I love how the basket wall anchors the entryway. It makes this space a lot more fun.
Hello celebrating Easter. It was a good day.
Hello watching this movie with Matthias. It is so fun! {Warning, there is some crude humor.} I haven’t seen the second one. Is it any good?
Hello so much to do. It’s a little crazy around here.
Hello spring break! Yay! We’re working hard but making time for fun.
Hello later bedtime because there’s no school in the morning.
Hello making chocolate chip cookies and cuddling on the couch.
Hello reading books and more books to David. He can’t get enough and it’s so fun {and a little tiring!}
Hello to you! It’s a brand new week with beauty to be found. What are you saying hello to this week?
You are truly one amazing and strong woman. Take care of you.?
Looks so great! Love it!!
Lisa, What books do you read to David? How and when did you begin reading to him? When did it become something he loved so much? I would love to hear a blog post about your reading journey with him. I have a son with a chromosomal disorder who is non-verbal but incredibly friendly and interested in people. I want to instill in him a love for stories.
Hello Kathy!
What a good idea for a blog post. We started reading to David when he was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at birth–because we wanted him to hear the sound of our voices and cuddle with him. Even when he was so little it was soothing. Our approach to reading with David isn’t fancy–just cuddling and reading g book or two. We do lots of Dr. Seuss and children’s books. Hugs to you!
I am just tonight reading your blog and find you amazing, beautiful, loving ,spiritual, nurturing and so many more words. I love (although,I have not yet purchased yet)your jewelry and tell everyone about your site. It was your stacking rings which stole my heart. I simply wanted to tell you hello!
Awwww…I love the slower pace of Spring Break. Enjoy snuggles, books and movies.
