We’ve had such a relaxing time with family in Omaha. We’ve done a good amount of lying around, watching movies, playing video games and eating delicious food. We also made it out to the Omaha zoo–which was fabulous!
hello trees ready to bud {you’re going to have to wait a few months}
hello brothers checking out the turtles
hello family and cousins that are getting so old {the oldest even babysits!}
hello sunny skies and no snow in the forecast. but we did find a snowy patch of ground and had fun!
hello shadows holding hands
hello lazy leopard. we’ve been lazy just like you.
hello christmas morning with lots of gifts and a wrapping paper explosion
hello monday! i’ve completely lost track of time since we are away–but i’m pretty sure it’s the beginning of a new week! and almost the beginning of a new year.
what are you saying hello to today? link up in the comments section and let us know!
What a fun post! I really love the wrapping paper (white with colorful deer?) in the second to last photo – so fun!
The Omaha Zoo is great – one of the best in the nation! I live just up the road on the Iowa side 🙂 And it was very odd to have no snow and warmer weather over christmas! 2 years ago we had a giant blizzard on Christmas! Glad you enjoyed your time in the midwest!
I’m late as well – too much holiday for me 🙂

I love Omaha, the Henry Doorly Zoo is great!
I have admired your wonderful jewelry and great sense of style for quite some time, and it was fun to see you enjoying our zoo here in Omaha! Glad you had a great time with family!
Blessings,
Kirstin
Glad you enjoyed your time in Omaha and that you made it back home safely!
the picture of the boys looking at the turtles is precious! My sister and brother in law got me the My Treasure necklace for Christmas. I had been going to your shop to look at it and wish for quite some time:) absolutely LOVE it.
Beautiful photos! I love seeing all the photos in blogs of sleepy but happy faces on Christmas morning. 🙂 Santa brought me a new lens and lessons so I’m hoping I’ll soon capture some beautiful shots to treasure like these. Happy Monday!
I love all of your pictures Lisa. Looks like your family had a awesome holiday!
I’m linking up for the first time, this is fun. And ironic with my Angry Julie Monday name {giggle}

What a heavenly weekend!!! The glow of Christmas is still shining in our house and I hope it will stick around for a long while!
We’re saying hello to lots of kiddie crafts(which were gifts to my oldest), playing dressup(my youngest) and cuddling on the couch with a new kitten, new movies and Wii games. Later we’ll venture out to stock up on wrapping paper goods for next year. Hoping theres something left when we get there:)
