  1. Lisa, I hope your family have arrived safely in London and you’re all ok. It’s totally awful what is happening and I so hope it stops and I hope it doesn’t spoil your visit. I feel angry and worried (my daughter lives close to where there has been trouble) and I know it will make people think twice about visiting our lovely country which makes me feel very very sad. Take care.

  2. Please take care of yourselves in London. So many horrible things happening there now, and it’s such a lovely place normally.

  3. I love the colours in the first photo! And all the pictures of the fresh fruit made me so hungry!

I said hello to a cup of tea to start the day, a great book to read (The Wednesday Sisters), and laundry and dishes.

  4. Blessings and safe journey – can’t wait to hear all about it.
Those strawberries are gorgeous, ours are all gone here in the south.
Got my heartstrings necklace and love it!

  5. Safe travels to you and your family. I hope your trip is as sweet as those strawberries, as rich as the color of those cherries, and as robust as those beautiful garlics! I hope your fun is as never-ending as those blueberries and I hope you have as much peace and quiet, with an exciting flare, as that beautiful sunflower seems to exude. Enjoy and I can’t wait to see your pics!

  6. Woohooo! You’re coming to England! Whereabouts are you staying in London and what are your plans whilst you’re here? If you get a chance, visit the Olympic site in Stratford in East London (there is an amazing little cafe and viewing gallery, we’re so excited about the Olympics). Oooh and if you get a chance, on Saturday mornings there is an awesome antique/vintage market on Portbello Road in Notting Hill (be sure to buy cupcakes from the Hummingbird Bakery there) and you would love the Columbia Road flower market every Sunday morning, that’s in Shoreditch. And I guess you’ll be visiting some of the museums, David and Matty would love them! Oh and I hope you have sunshine whilst you’re here so you can enjoy the parks! Have a wonderful time 🙂

  7. Have a wonderful time on your trip!
This morning: Hello to my sweet kids! I worked three long shifts at the Hospital this weekend and hardly got to see them for three days!

  8. Wishing you and your fam safe, easy travels!

I am saying hello to a ferry about to take us back to the mainland after a week on San Juan Island. Therefore, I am saying hello to laundry and grocery shopping in the next 24 hours! And hello to getting back into the groove of real life. Sigh.

  9. Have a wonderful vacation! Looking forward to seeing all the pics that you will be posting!

    Safe travels,
    Sandi

  10. Oh Lisa, I am soooooo jealous! It’s been five long years since I’ve been there and I’ve been pining to go back!!! I hope you have a wonderful time and I will be sure to live vicariously through your blog posts!!!
