last week’s heat wave was the perfect excuse to order pizza and then head to montana de oro while the sunset. the kids threw rocks into the waves and tried to outrun the incoming tide. i round a perfect heart shaped rock. we were only there for about a half hour, but it was great.
how fun. i love heart shaped rocks too.
i have a really cool one that my son gave to us when he was a liitle boy. i think i want to add to it to make it a collection.
i love your blog AND your jewelry.

Do you mind sharing how you put together the four photographs. you are multi talented and I heart your blog.
How fun! Your boys are so ding-dang adorable!
i’m so jealous of your heat wave! we didn’t even get a summer over here in London. that cape that Lindsey made sure seems to be getting a lot of use ;o)
*YAY* for montana de oro!!! we live in austin now, but when we lived in san francisco, my sweetheart and i regularly traveled to his family’s place in los osos–we still go back at least once a year and we NEVER, EVER miss our morning hikes at montana de oro–SUCH a beautiful and special place–the smell of the eucalyptus trees brings so many happy memories of my life in cali–thanks for sharing!

Love the pictures! Rock throwing and collecting are much loved passtimes around here too!
It is amazing what a difference taking just a half hour can make. Must remeber to keep on grabbing those little moments.
Thanks for sharing your lovely evening.
We are hot here too….I wish we were close to the ocean to get a little relief!
Ah, I’m so jealous! My husband and I used to live in San Luis and miss it terribly. I wish we could just pop over to Montana de Oro for a half hour!
