it’s definitely starting to feel like fall. the air is much cooler but the sun is still shiney. there are hay bales at nearby farms and our local pumpkin patch just opened. today we have are gonna try and get this house into a decent state and make fish tacos for dinner. i’m catching up on email and we’ve got a new design to show you in the next day or two. and of course there’s the usual piano playing-lincoln log building-superhero drawing-and general silliness. what’s going on for you this fine fall day??
we just made yummy oatmeal scotchie cookies (oatmeal with butterscotch chips) and the house smells so yummy. We have a few windows open just to catch the cool breeze and I am sitting down to curl up on the couch and read a mag. while a lego tower is being constructed across the room! happy fall to y’all!
Stephanie-praying for your trip and to bring your boys home!!
Taking Dan to the dentist and bringing him home. But while waiting for him, catching up on some Bible Study time since I was in SLO last week and missed my study down here in Redondo. It’s actually cooler down here, too. In the 60s, 50s at night, and sunny. Don’t know what to expect weather-wise down here. It’ll be interesting, but fun. hugs to your and your family
Lovely picture!
Around here we’re having two playdates… and made two loaves of pumpkin bread to make the place smell fall’ish and yummy!
I have always loved pics of hay bales! Beautiful!
I leave this afternoon for the first leg of my trip to Haiti … can’t wait to hold my beautiful boys again. Praying for a miracle, that God would put every detail in place so that they can come home on this trip.
Our family just moved into a townhouse (bought!) and our new furniture came, we’re doing hues of blues, blacks and chocolate browns. Yum.
I’ve never heard of fish tacos. Is that a CA thing?
