how was your weekend? give us the highlights!
Sounds like you had a great weekend!
My weekend was pretty great as well. Had a night out with friends and discovered a great band, went on a quick roadtrip, homemade milkshakes, yum!
I’ve been following your blog for awhile now and love it! I also love your jewelry!
We had an amazing weekend because my daughter who is in the middle of her senior year was actually able to march Saturday with the band in their last competition of the season (and her high school career) after suffering from a dislocated knee cap on Tuesday night.
ps. and they WON….they WON…they WON!!
Peter and I flew up to Pleasant Valley (near Sac) to celebrate a birthday and then were saddened to hear of his sister’s death – sad because she seemed to be defiant to the end.
yes, my little aidan just lost his first tooth on wednesday night. however, he is ONLY 2 1/2! boo hoo! his was due to falling and mouth hitting the coffee table! it twisted and jammed up in his mouth, and so, they had to pull it. boo hoo! top front, too! so, it will probably be a FEW years before we have full smile again! oh, well! he’s still cute! here’s to “first tooth” missing! did the tooth fairy visit your house? we had a “treasure” dropoff at our house for the ordeal!
We had a wonderful weekend. Friday night we stayed in raked leaves and watched a movie. Oh yeah and enjoyed our hot tub! Saturday they were calling for rain but, to our surprise it was a beautiful warm day. We went to the Farmer’s Market and walked around downtown. Visiting lots of antique and thrift stores! Then we tried out the new pizza joint! Yum. Sunday we went for a 7 mile hike to Crabtree Falls. Now that is my kind of weekend 🙂
that seagull photo is sooooo great !
and ummmm 65 degrees….I would love that right now instead of the 48 and rain we are having…and the forecasted 85…now that’s only a dream !
As always, love your photos!
We had a quiet weekend, Saturday we spent cleaning and organizing our little place, but we made it out on Sunday for a family “hike” around some historic trails. Very nice!
We had a busy weekend. Our town held it’s last farmers market of the season and they celebrate it with a harvest festival and trick or treating at the local stores. It spurned me on to finish the kids Halloween costumes a week early, yeah, they’re done! On Sunday I took the kids to an animation workshop in the big city. It was a lot of fun and I found out they do school field trips too. I am going to encourage my kids teachers to take advantage of it.
It is such a bittersweet time when your youngest loses their first baby tooth. It is a sign that they are getting older and it closes the chapter on their youngest years.
Our little family shared our first movie night this weekend. Emma 2, snuggled close to dada and Drew 9m slept all the way through. It was a precious night that will be repeated next weekend! Oh, and I turned 30 on Saturday. Blech! 🙂
congrats David on losing your first tooth:) such a big boy!!!
Parks with the little ones are the best! My hubby worked at the Gallery all weekend…so I stayed close to home…baked cookies, caught up on chores and snuggled a lot.
Lovely weekend!
We had lots of rain, so not much outdoor time… but I turned 40 on Friday and had lots of friends over for games and food, got lots of crafting done on Saturday, and had more family time on Sunday. It was all good 🙂
Looks like a great weekend, beautiful photos! I had a day long date with hubby and baby while my mom watched the three big kids. Then we got a few projects done at home. It was gorgeous and 70° here on Saturday, that’s my idea of perfect weather.
