make a little quiet. make a little coffee.
*
sit for a bit. take a long walk.
*
*
put away my computer. grab a pencil and sketchbook.
*
take a good look at the box. then think outside of it.
*
*
let ideas wash over me. let thoughts swirl in my head and start to take shape.
*
*
dream big. then dream a little bigger.
*
until it hits…inspiration.

our new banner cuff can be found here (and it’s on sale this weekend!).
Lovely lovely post, I really like how your page looks, is it difficult to space your photos together like that? I will be trying your apple crisp!

I want to say thank you for the beautiful necklace I got last week. I am in love with it and so glad I finally bought myself a gorgeous handmade birthday gift.

Beautiful post!! Love the bracelet.
I was inspired tonight by my husband and my son! We went to help out at a Childhood Cancer Research Fundraiser – St. Baldricks -tonight and both my boys gave up their hair to help raise money to find a cure! I love my boys!!! My son’s hair just grew back in after losing it to his chemo treatments! What an inspiration!

I find myself sitting with a notebook, jotting down notes. The only problem is I am a procrastinator and I spend half my life putting off something that would be awesome…if I would only DO it!
Thanks for sharing your inspiration process.
Great post Lisa! Always looking for good inspiration.
Love it.
Beautiful post! =)
What a B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. post! Coffee, is a MUST. Love the line “take a good look at the box. then think outside of it.” Thank you for being such an INSPIRATION! 😉
Thank you for reminding me to sit quiet and allow inspiration to come. Prayer allows inspiration to permeate. God talks to me in the stillness. I need to turn off the distractions and sit with Him to be truly inspired.
Lisa, You make me want to be a photographer. Right now, I just use a camera. So, not the same thing.
LOVE the new cuff, and this post…the photos are beautiful and inspiring. 🙂
Whenever I am stuck for inspiration, I usually go outside. It helps to hear the wind, the birds, do a little walking, etc. Other times, I try to forget about coming up with an idea and read something by someone I find inspiring, which is sometimes other blogs, or books. Love your photographs, they are gorgeous.
Thank you for this post! I really needed to read it today. Your blog is fantastic! And I love your jewelry, especially the new banner cuff! Adorable!
