you know how much i am loving yellow lately, right?
so when i saw all these yellow wildflowers popping up in a field nearby, i convinced my family to take some photos.
we went just before sunset. and light was so magical.
and everyone was happy and playful. so it was the perfect setting for taking pics together.
and then we went out for mexican food afterwards. yum.
i love yellow, i love sunsets and i love my little family.
even though we are a little bit crazy and very imperfect. it’s good.
those pics of matthias running through the field keeping making me want to cue the little house on the prairie music. i grew up watching that show, how about you?
LOVE LOVE LOVE these photos in the yellow flower field. Gotta find me a field of yellow flowers!

I just want to compliment your photoes! 🙂
The family photo in the fields is SOOOO NIIICE!!!! The nicest photo in a year on your blog! 😉
…among all your wonderful photoes and collages!
Billions of blessings to you!
Hi Lisa, I’m in your Indie Biz class! I always love the yellow flowers in bloom. In Germany they call them Raps, not sure what they are called in the states… heh. I’m curious about your use of the name Matthias, did you get it from a German relative or something? I had never heard it before living in Germany, it’s now my favorite boy name…
Your photos are beautiful. It’s pleasure to stop by and look at them, it’s great inspiration. thanks for sharing!
hi kara! it’s the greek version of matthew. and matthias has an uncle matthew-but we decided to change it up a bit. xo
Interesting! It’s a very popular name out here! We have an uncle Matthew as well… same thought pattern there about changing it up slightly. Neato!
I absolutely love these photos of your precious family!

Lisa, That is a huge field of wild mustard! The greens are delicious in a stir fry, and even the flowers are edible. Thought you might want to know since you seem to have it in spades somewhere near you!
I, too, love yellow!
These photos are dreamy. Simply gorgeous!
Just want to say I won one of your necklaces thru a blog site and I absolutely love it. Now I see you and your family and how lucky you are for them and they are for you. A beautiful family and wonderful pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Who took them Lisa?

All of these are wonderful! (did you use a timer or a friend?) The first one is my favorite-it really shows each member of your sweet fam so truly.

What a special time in your lives that you have embraced and that you celebrate!
And yes, I watched Little House growing up. (And watched many re-run episodes when, during my freshman year in college, I had an hour break in between two classes, exactly when the show was on. How funny to remember that!)
