where are you finding beauty today?
I found beauty in my husband tonight…. he is so kind to me. His gentlessness and tender care of often overlooked but always exactly what I need.
Beautiful photos, beautiful reminder!
I found beauty today in listening to my son play & making up his own story as he went along….I also found it in cutting a bouquet of daisies & hydrangeas from my garden, & then tonight as I went for a run with nothing but the sound of peeper frogs around me.
Love your photos, Lisa. Saying a prayer for you & your family. :)Sarah
i am finding beauty in ‘me’ today…i needed a haircut and colour and told my hairdresser to jazz me up! i walked out with beautiful maroon highlights in warm chocolate hair with lots of long layers…love the way it looks and the way it makes me feel…young and sassy!
popping over from emily’s and your photographs are simply lovely! today i found beauty in:
*the grey skies
*the gentle whispering of rain on my windows
*the way my children played together laughing and encouraging each other
*a little ben + jerry’s after they went to bed 😉
blessings to you!
Thanks for the pis! Love them! I’m finding beauty in the sunshine and birds chirping away outside!
Hi Lisa, today I’m finding beauty in the sunshine because the forecast was for rain! I took a photo this morning of a raindrop on one of my favourite hardy cranesbill geraniums (I’ll post it on my blog tomorrow). The raindrop is sitting right in the middle of the leaf and it just looked so perfect, I couldn’t resist it. I’m also finding beauty in the song of our native bellbird. This bird is the most perfect shade of rich olive/chartreusy (is that a colour, giggle) green and it is only about 4″high. The stunning song that comes out of this little bird just stops me in my tracks and stirs my soul. It has to be heard to be believed! Just writing about it stirs me. Smiles…
I love waking up early in the morning for work and opening the sliding glass door to my balcony and listening the the birdsong and cicadas – that sound they make is so ancient and beautiful and so much the sound of summer. I love watching my cat checking everything – his head moving everywhere to take it all in. I love a good soft rain – that’s peaceful and the way the sun shines through the leaves of the trees and my little flower garden on my balcony. It’s all a beautiful gift.
Sharing a Dunkin’ Donut and coffee with my 28 year old son, on our way to the airport. Seriously good eats and an hour of conversation, just the two of us. 🙂
Wow–gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.
Your blog really reminds me to find beauty in the little things, thank you Lisa! (:
The ocean. Sailboats on the water. Cactus blossums. My children. My son with a messy chocolate face. My students when they have an “aha” moment. The perfect mix of coffee and creamer. My daughter’s smile. God is so good and it is so neat to see His hand in our everyday lives.
in my boys:) in just having a day together even though I dont feel very beautiful, joyful or hopeful in my spirit. just trying to rest in God and in the beauty that He has created and let us share together
These pictures are spectacular Lisa!

those photos are so peaceful. in love with the beauty.
Oh so wonderful! thank you for the reminder to find beauty – I tend to get so caught up in my morning rush that I forget to stop and find some beauty along the way – to much rushing not enough slowing down especially not that vacation is over!
so today, I will find some bits of beauty in my life – in my everyday life!
have a great day!

What a great blog! And awesome photos! Truly enjoy it! And I love your jewelry! Ladies comment all the time on how beautiful my necklace is! I’ve already seen 3 of my friends purchase items from you. Thank you!
Lisa, what a lovely post. Your blog is just beautiful. Today for me, it was a little thing…blue eyeshadow rather than the ‘no eyeshadow’ that I usually wear. Just a little was all that was needed to put a bit of a pep in my step!! Made me feel good. Totally agree, it sure can be the little things (some days it’s just finding the bottom of the ironing basket) and we should search them out each and every day : )
gorgeous! i am finding beauty in my growing garden, my 2 children, and snuggling with my hubby 🙂
Beautiful photos, Lisa!!! Thank you for sharing.
I’m finding beauty in my son’s smile today. After last day and night spending in fever, he is feeling much better now and it makes me happy.
Love the pictures Lisa! Absolutely gorgeous. 🙂

Wow – you are as talented a photographer as you are a jewlery designer! Just beautiful. Praying for your son!
My kids (I have a 4 yo son & a 2 yo daughter). They just do whatever comes to their mind. Weather it dance, giggle or jump for joy. They don’t think or even worry what other people think. I love that about them. 🙂
P.S. Love the sunflower picture. Sunflowers are one of my 3 favorite flowers. (Blue Hydrangea & Gerbra Daisy are the others.) 🙂
Finding beauty in sticky faces and hands. My little ones at play. Dirt. Front-end loaders and dump trucks. A new turquoise coffee mug. And a new haircut…something about freshly cut hair makes me smile.
Happy Tuesday.
J.
Sometimes I think we are kindred spirits, you and I. Sometimes crossing paths at just the right time.
I JUST WROTE about finding beauty in my everyday…the laundry, the breeze, the smells of my home.
Your photos are so beautiful and PEACEFUL. Just like the person who took them.
Lisa, these photos are fantastic. Would love to see you link up to Tuesdays Unwrapped at my place today. A perfect fit.
