Hey friends! It’s Wednesday and I’m linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for some fashion inspiration.
This week’s outfit is a little sweet and a little spicy. The leather skirt is vintage {and something that I wouldn’t normally wear} and the necklace speaks to my heart!
The leather skirt is probably from the 90’s. I remember feathering my bangs and trying to get them to go higher. And I remember stalking the Gap for sales. In high school I loved anything and everything Gap!
The tied to my heart necklace is a special piece created to benefit the CdLS foundation–that’s David’s syndrome. They’ve come alongside us and they’ve been so incredibly supportive. The CdLS foundation has given us advice on which surgeries to pursue and which to let go. They research therapies and treatments and basically they are amazing! The necklace is only $44 and GORGEOUS.
I love a soft vest and a cozy scarf on a chilly morning.
These booties are Sam Edelman from a local boutique. So comfortable–they’re a staple!
Outfit details: Leather skirt, vintage. Black top, Target. Faux fur vest, TJ Maxx. Scarf, local boutique. Booties, Sam Edelman. Necklace, My shop.
Today’s the last day–so get one or two of these necklaces! They’re only $44, can be ! Shop here.
Will you be offering this necklace again? I’m a CdLS momma and didn’t realize it was limited time. So bummed!
Love this coat and necklace as well as the scarf! Thanks for sharing!

Hey Lisa! Love the necklace and love even more the meaning brhind it. We just lost my ‘little’ sister this past summer at the age of 34. She also had CdLS and taught is soooo much about unconditional love, patience and determination to do anything you want. We miss her dearly. I am getting 3 of these necklaces for my mom, my other sister and myself in loving memory of her…………….
LOVE the leather skirt! I found one at a thrift shop and I wanted it to fit so bad, but, alas it did not. I’m still on the hunt!
