it’s wednesday and i’m linking up with lindsey {the pleated poppy} for some fashion inspiration!
for the above outfit i’m wearing a dress i got a couple years ago in LA layered with a vintage slip from ruby rose. so simple and fun. the boots are from anthropologie. final touch–the key to my heart necklace.
above, black top from primark in england layered with a camisole from a local boutique. jeans, anthropologie. wedges, target. bracelet–devoted. necklace–made myself {but not available in our shop, at least not yet!}
steve and i are heading down to LA today to attend the hollywood premiere for the movie machine gun preacher with gerard butler and michelle monaghan. crazy! there’s a lot behind why we are attending–and i can’t wait to tell you all about it.
Where have I been? I LOVE YOUR BLOG. Thank you for sharing your gifts.
Lisa, you are just beautiful! Love the looks you put together here! Random question: What products do you use on that gorgeous head of hair? Mine is naturally curly, and lately I have had trouble finding things to tame all these curls! I am getting tired of the flat-iron routine! LOL
Hi there, I’m stopping by per LMM, and I have to say I’m loving those boots! Also if I were to be so lucky as to win the LMM contest, I would use my gift card to get the teenytinyinitials necklace. And if I don’t win, I’m sending the link to my hubby every day until Christmas!
You are lovely and so is your jewelry!
I like that you combine black and brown. For some reason, that is taboo in my mind (like the rule about not wearing white shoes after Labor Day!), but the black dress looks great with the brown boots.
in love <3 with the jeans AND the shoes.
I love your dress!
p.s. have fun! can’t wait to hear all about it!
Stopping by from LMM, love the outfits, super cute!!
Love looking at all your outfits every week! Your blog is always my favorite! Totally loving the black and camel combinations!
I love, love, love these outfits! Just beautiful.
ohhh your work is soooo lovely. I’m leaving a comment from Little Miss Momma’s giveaway. I’d love a charms necklace or the pearl earrings are oh-so-lovely!
Stopping by from LMM (although, I do read your blog regularly!). If I won her giveaway, I’d pick the “you’re the cream in my coffee necklace” 🙂
Beautiful! I bought a top today thinking that you’d wear on a Wednesday. I am looking forward to wearing it!
lisa, the outfits look terrific, as always!
the movie trailer is intriguing. i hadn’t heard of it, but it looks like a must see.
looking forward to hearing more. enjoy the premier!
Lookin’ good, Lisa! If you’re itching for fall, I’ve got a LOVD giveaway involving a glass pendant necklace if you’d like to put your hat in the ring, just visit my blog!
I just saw the movie trailer and it looks quite interesting. I’m guessing charity work?!?!?
Seriously love the long necklace. Please try to bring that to your shop. Great for fall!! I will be waiting (hint hint)!
Black dress with brown boots = perfection. Loving that outfit!
I really love how you match your necklaces with your outfits. I love the layered look with longer necklaces but whenever I try it on myself, I feel that it looks weird.
you look fabulous, i love those boots!
Okay, so I need you to get done with both the ruffly black dress and the sheer black top and send them my way ASAP.
How’s that for presumptuous?! ; )
No, but seriously, I loooooove ruffles and black paired with tan/brown (despite that being a rule-breaker and all). Well done.
Also, my hair used to do pretty much what yours does now, and I kind of miss it. Yours looks great!
Have I buttered you up enough?
hi beautiful! looookin’ good {whistles}. can’t wait to hug you this weekend. let me know what day you’re getting into LA for blog sugar? (are you coming friday afternoon — a bunch of us are meeting up)
xoxo!
Seriously cute outfits(but you always look great!)!!! And now wondering about this necklace you have on but we can’t have yet, also the reason behind going to a Hollywood Premier! So very cool(and I admit a bit jealous!! 🙂 ). Can’t wait to hear the story behind it.
Have a fab time and I hope you post pics of what you wore.
